re: The 'is munk Ben Brantley?' thread

Actually, I'm Ben Brantley.

Munk is Isherwood.
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body

Nah, Isherwood liked Spring Awakening more than Munk.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

Both Brantley and Isherwood called Spring Awakening the best musical of 2006. Over Grey Gardens. Therefore, munk can't be either.

re: The 'is munk Ben Brantley?' thread

Well, SPRING AWAKENING very well could be the best musical of the year. It's certainly very interesting, if flawed.

Saying SPRING AWAKENING is the best musical of the year isn't saying THAT much. Look at the competition.

I mean that they called Spring Awakening best over Grey Gardens and you, munk, wouldn't do that. That was my point.

I know, I was kidding.

But seriously, if I looked like this......

And would Ben Brantley really have a username of Munkustrap? Haha.
Don't worry, munk, Cats is totally a guilty pleasure of mine (shhh!).

Support your theory, and then perhaps the APA will consider your hypothesis.

Becoz, I'm deeply flattered, but I'm with Munk on this one....if I looked like either of them....

Plus, Riedel has no problem admitting when he's wrong.

Rosie O'Donnel forgave Brantely for his review of her Fiddler on the Roof performance when she saw a photo of him...no joke...sad as that is.
