I was intrigued when I found out The Addams Family was being made into a musical.
I got slightly more excited when I found out Lippa is behind the project.
I pretty much jumped up and down with joy with the casting of Lane and Neuwirth (the latter of which is just perfect on every possible level).
There just aren't words to describe how happy I am now that this has been fully cast. Carmello, Hoffman, and even Krysta Rodriguez. I know it's been discussed that she was supposedly cast in the role, but until it was officially announced I refrained from getting too psyched. The first time I saw In The Heights was with Rodriguez playing Nina. She was so good and natural in the role that I had no idea I was seeing an understudy. I can't wait to see her Wednesday and am thrilled to see this production.

This cast is so amazing! Jackie will be hysterical as Grandmama! And Bebe as Morticia - I didn't think anyone could top Anjelica Huston! I can't wait.

The cast is so good i might have to see it twice while its here. Still cannot contain the excitment. I want tickets to go onsale already!

I randomly went into Ticket Master today and noticed that individual tickets for the Chicao run just went on sale to AmEx cardholders this morning. I snagged a couple for January 9th.
So excited about this show! On the down side, I paid nearly $33 in "convenience" fees for 2 tickets.
