This from HX magazine online:
"Don?t miss Bebe Neuwirth and Nathan Lane as they star as Gomez and Morticia respectively in the new musical adaptation The Addams Family to hit the Broadway stage on April 8, 2010."
And there was me thinking that Nathan would play Gomez with Bebe as Morticia!

Neil Simon is open as of now. Even if Robin Williams some how completely and miraculously recovers to do his show, they would still be able to use Neil Simon.
After looking at this list: http://www.nederlandertheatres.com/ it might be at the Neil Simon. If POTO is not at a Nederlander, I don't think Love Never Dies will be.

It means that it is going to have Opening Night on April 8th at a Nederlander Theatre that is yet to be announced. But I agree, that is very confusingly written

According to someone on ATC, Carmello has dropped out of THE FIRST WIVES CLUB in order to do THE ADDAMS FAMILY. She'll be the only cast member from the final workshop not continuing on with it to San Diego this summer.
Does anyone know who they're getting to replace her as Annie? Joanna Gleason would be inspired casting.

I have an answer to my own question- the person on ATC says that Barbara Walsh is replacing Carmello as Annie in THE FIRST WIVES CLUB.
Even more perfect casting!

Somethingwicked, thanks for clarifying that. I'm surprised Carmello made that move, perhaps she wasn't pleased with the material? Who knows?

Carmello is smart. She knows that THE ADDAMS FAMILY will be a huge hit (i truly think it will be) whereas THE FIRST WIVES CLUB may have some trouble finding an audience.
Even if the material to THE ADDAMS FAMILY is mediocre (but I hope it is excellent), the show will be a hit.

I knew Wesley Taylor had a huge career ahead of him the very first time I saw him in ROA. This young guy is loaded with talent.
And I love Nathan Lane-I think he's perfect for Gomez.
