I'm really excited now!! I'm gonna try to get rush tickets in January. Usually if you call the box office, they'll have the info about the rush.
There's Student Rush?
Talkin' Broadway, my usual source for SR, SRO & Lotto procedures doesn't have anything listed... This may be because it is still in previews though.
Whats the policy?
I really hope I end up getting to see this. I hope they get pictures up soon.

wow, good review
But what we all want to know....
LOL
Is was there merchandise for the show.
I really want a poster of Kristin like the one they have been posting all around town of her with the apple.
DID THEY HAVE POSTERs? (WINDOWCARD)
Please let us know we're all dying to know.
also did you stage door after. Did kristin come out.
ANY ONE ELSE WITH A REVIEW? Please share. I'm so excited about this production.
They had shirts and posters (with the pic of her and the apple). They probably had other stuff too, but I didn't get a chance to look.
She came out of the stage door and was incredibly nice as always. She signed autographs, posed for pictures, and talked to everyone. (and she said her injury is healing)
Okay I just called the box office...they have the strangest rush policy. They've got a general rush at 10am when the box office opens (I guess this is open to everyone?) and those tickets are $26.25 but in the rear mezzanine. There's also a student rush which is a half hour before curtain and it's just half price of any seats they have left.
In case anyone was wondering, hehe.
Do the shirts have the same logo as the poster?

if you're between the ages of 18 & 35, go on www.hiptix.com, for $35 tickets to this and all Roundabout shows.
Thanks Yankeefan. Freckles, as much as I like Kristin Chenoweth, I would think a shirt with a giant picture of her on it would be a little much, though I haven't been to the show so who knows.
The view from the rear mezz seats at 54 is clear, but very far away. They are also the most uncomfortable seats I have ever sat in. No leg room.

For those who have seen it so far: I know it's early, but considering what we've seen for revivals thus far this season, Tony contender?
Oh, lame. So I guess I should bring the binoculars along...*sigh*
How was Walter Charles? Having seen him in Cabaret recently, he is the one I am most interested in.
I wish this would be there in April
Freckles- the shirts look like the logo but without the pic of Kristin
Colleen- It's definately a Tony contender!
James- Walter was good, but his part is pretty small.

I know this is may be a dumb question...
I can't buy tickets now but...There is a chance I'll be able to see it but I won't know until later on the day of.
Do you think there will be tickets left at like 6:00pm on Dec 15th?
Oh! I can't wait!I am not familiar with The Apple Tree; it was way before my time. Totally bought tickets because of Kristin. However, the story sounds great. Since I don't know much about this show, should I listen to the recording first?

I recently read the Jules Feiffer story that the PASSIONELLA segment is based on...i loved it! His art, as well as his writing, is so sensitive, smart & funny!

SweetQ, you're a student, right? They have a student rush a half hour before every show, so I think you should be okay.

Really?? So do you think if I get there an hour before the show, I can get student rush tickets?
That would be awesome!
Edit: Is there a link to a website that says this?

hermionejuliet, I would definitely recommend listening to the cast recording before you see the show. That's how I prepared myself for the ENCORES! production.

Does anyone know where I can find specific information about rush policy for this show?
Do you think if I get there an hour before the show starts, I can get student rush ticket?
I'd be going on Fri, Dec 15

Student rush is based on availability.
This show seems to be selling well and with that particular performance being both a Friday night during the Holiday season and the performance immediately after opening night.
Chances don't seem good. And rush is 30 minutes before the show...not an hour. I don't expect there to be much.
thanx for the info about the shirt, everyone!
There's no way of knowing yet, so all this conjecture is pointless. We don't know how hard rush will be yet because no one has reported back thus far, we haven't seen the weekly grosses yet, and the reviews haven't come out yet. If the show gets raves and turns into a smash hit, it would be difficult. If you see this week that the theatre was 30% full, there won't be much of a problem. December 15 is 16 days away. Just wait and see. There's no point in getting all anxiety ridden now.
But I do know that the show is selling very well.
