The Battery's Down Episode 4 Hits the Web May 1!

I'm sorry, but I like the show less and less with each episode.

Was the third episode the one with the little kid?

Just want to make sure I'm caught up.

Mmm, I didn't find it funny, but the humor in this new one seemed a lot more crude. Or just not funny at all? Too bad.

Ok thank you all y'all- I thought I was the only one who wasn't getting this!! The first episode was super fantastic- "this is your life" IS my life- but I've been having to force thru watching them since then. The one with the kid last month literally made me cringe, and this month I finally quit watching before the episode was over, and only pushed thru watching as much of it as I did because I wanted to see Sarah Saltzberg. I never knew a trip to Vegas could be so unfunny.

I agree it's been going downhill which makes me really sad. However I did rather love the song at the beginning of epi four; it has virtually nothing to do with the rest of the episode..but eh.

Hmm. Resurrecting this because episode 5 premieres at midnight and I'm re-watching all the episodes so far...

I think that "Natural" (the first song) summarizes the episode, in a sense. The song is basically, "Ditch all of these 'lucky' objects, because I don't need them." and at the very end of the song (the funeral), he is techically buried alive. (?) It sends us the message that his luck has run out. In the episode, he gets the job in Vegas, but then he gets into everything and gets fired. It was also a dream sequence, so maybe it was a prophetic dream? That's how I'm going to connect it with the episode as a whole.
