That 'where the seats are located' section re: lotto tickets seems incorrect. At the very least it was eight tickets in the boxes (four on each side, no pairs being separated) back when I won the lotto (oooh, conspiracy) and saw the show - this was over 4th of July weekend.

And no mention of the SRO policy?

And, sorry, but is anyone else completely amused by the review from the person who was offended by the show? Not just because of the um, duh, are you unfamiliar with the work of Matt Stone and Trey Parker factor, but this:

Unfortunately, the story is so offensive, disturbing, and hateful that I couldn't wait until it was over! I didn't bother to do stage door since I would've had some opinions for the cast they wouldn't have liked.

still has me laughing - do people actually contemplate going up to actors at the stage door just to tell them how offended they were by their show? As if the actors are unaware of the content of the show they're in? Who has that kind of time?

Not too many choices on your poll.

I loved it, althought I wouldn't say it was GENIUS, but I certainly liked it more than the middling option. And I'm sure there is a myriad of people that fall somewhere between that and thinking it was the worst thing ever.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

There are only 8 front row seats now? What? I thought there were 14 or something like that.

And Anakela, when I went back in February/March, yeah there was one set of partial view seats that was a single seat in each box.

Sorry for the confusion. We were speaking in sets of 2, since they give them away in pairs.

So the 6 = 12 tickets,
and the 2 = 4 tickets
The last pair can be separated.

Anakela, I wasn't 'amused" by that girl's opinion. That is what she thought. Just because you and many others were not offended doesn't mean she couldn't be. I enjoyed the show but was offended by the last part of "Hasa Diga Eebowai". Musically it is a very good song but I tend to skip it when listening to it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

But did you consider going to the stage door to tell the actors how offended you were? (Or did you consider the fact that you didn't go to the stage door to tell them you were offended to be a kudos on your part?) I understand the being offended; the contemplating telling the actors how offended you were I've never come across before.

It's funny. I listen to the BOM CD all the time and sing along and love it. It wasn't until I had my sister in the car and noticed her reactions (ie, kinda put off) that I realized the show might be offensive to many people. My sister is very liberal and open minded, but she does go to Church weekly and she did not like "Hasa Diga Eebowai". She thought it was a bit much and she has a great sense of humor.
