I really admire his work in The Normal Heart.
I am very impressed by his talent. I have also met him several times and he is very nice.
I especially loved his speech at the Drama Desk Awards. He thanked his wife for supporting him before his success.
They are a great pair.

I've seen this guy in:

Cabaret
Comedians
Normal Heart
Merrily We Roll Along
Taboo
Tick, Tick, Boom

In each of these shows his character has been so different as to make him unrecognizable from one to the other. Now that's REAL acting. He is SO good I can't even bring myself to be resentful or jealous. I can only sit back and enjoy and revel in each performance.

SO....I guess you have to count me as a fan.

Just my opinion (and I'm glad it is).

Count me in! He's soooo incredible this guy. Ever since I got the Taboo OBCR, "Petrified" is the only song I've listened to! And 30/90 from TTB is one of my favorite songs because he sings almost the whole thing himself!

I have my books and my poetry to protect me...

Here I am, guys!! (Of course I am, aspriringguy... Raul does need a warning label, but would I pass this up? LMAO!) I saw this thread earlier, and got mucho excited, but I didn't have time to respond. I've been so busy.. tonight's my graduation!

When I first saw this, I was like "oh! Where's Ruffian?" Thought maybe you were off somewhere with Raul! lol

Anyway, what to say? RAUL, I LOVE YOU!

Seriously, though... he the most talented actor I have ever seen... and those eyes.... and that voice....and such a sweetheart. AHHH I heart him. And don't you guys think he has the sexiest name ever? Raul Eduardo Esparza.... now of course it would sound so much better if I spoke proper Spanish and could roll my R's, but whatever. Just a thought I figured I'd share.....

Ok, I'm gonna shut up now. This post, unlike some of my others, will not be from... hey, Wicked_Elphie, what school is it? lol!

My new favorite song is Petrified. It's the only song I've listened to on Taboo, and I haven't listened to any other song for days.

Raul is my new favorite Broadway guy.
