Which one is better, Fosse?
Also, does the Wal Mart one come like the dreamgirls deluxe edition cd? (folds out with 2 cds, or is the DVD just sloppily placed in the case?

Posted: 7/10/07 at 11:53pmThe WalMart DVD is locked on the spindle like the CD. It's a double CD case. I bought both, you can always give the single Circuit City disc as a gift and just keep the DVD which comes seperately in a regular DVD case.

Though the Making of HAIRSPRAY is unparalleled due to all of the footage it contains, both DVDs are absolute musts -- the Wal-Mart one has that "Finding Tracy" Casting Special which isn't on the Circuit City one and has to be seen. I find it amusing how many 'thin' girls had the gall to audition for Tracy Turnblad.
The Wal-Mart CD case is the traditional clear hard plastic CD case with the 2-disc swivel disc holder in the middle which holds disc 1 and disc 2 back-to-back. I hate that horrible cardboard case for the DREAMGIRLS Deluxe Edition -- especially the pocket where you slide-in the booklet.
Oh, for those iTunes afficionados -- the CD booklet just contains a great foreword by Marc Shaiman and the entire lyrics. There are no production photos, just the famous 'first' press photo of John Travolta as Edna and Nikki Blonsky as Tracy on the last page.

Posted: 7/11/07 at 12:03amI've seen the "Finding Tracy" featurette before, and I'm sure it'll be on the special features of the DVD.

oh, I misunderstood what you wrote.
But I think the iTunes digital booklet is the same as the CD booklet- just in Adobe format.
