On to another subject for a second. I forgot where I saw it because it was awhile ago and I'm not sure if it's actually happening, but is Nathan Klau leaving the tour after this week?
And now let's return to the speculations about Taylor's post.

Is that the new invention by Deven mentioned in the comments on Erich's blog?

The tour has their 500th performance today. And they're still going, I think they're booked up through 2010 but those stops haven't been announced yet.

OK, now that we know there were multiple press photographers there, we should try tracking down more shots of that pose.
EDIT: Minneapolis article!

Um, Deven's new project hasn't been out in the open yet and I'm guessing if they wanted to, we all would have known by now.
Otherwise, you know Taylor just loves seeing everyone go crazy on here. ;D

I'm guessing Bryan has started performances in Chicago already. Has anyone has seen his performance yet because wondering how he fits in with the Chicago company.
Also, it's probably renegociating time for the Chicago company. I wonder if everyone resigned, or if there are going to be a few cast changes occuring. I've heard a rumor of one change.
He fit in beautifully when I saw it on Friday.
I was so excited to see this cast and they didn't disappoint at all. It took me a while to get used to Drew's Bob but he was great. I LOVED Jarrod's performance more than I could possibly say. He was amazing but then again they were all great!

Just wanted to chime in to let you know I saw the national tour in Tampa - AMAZING! Andrew Rannells is a fantastic Bob Gaudio...
Yes, he is. Do elaborate!
Good to hear that Bryan's fitting in with the Chicago cast nicely, although one thing I liked about Bryan with the Vegas cast is that he and Jason looked alike, so them playing Tommy and Nick made good sense. ;D I know he said that he likes his Chicago castmates a lot.
Yup, Andrew is also great. I seriously can't pick a favorite Bob Gaudio anymore...
I can't wait to see Bryan as Tommy...I love the Chicago cast and I'm so glad that you enjoyed them obsessedjb. I think Jarrod is amazing as well, he was just made for that role. The whole cast blows me away every time I see them!

Not yet, more like a year and a half. But thanks for posting up that link. I wish they would use each cast b-roll on their specific sites.
But anyway, speaking of the tour, with presenters around the country are announcing their next seasons come more tour stops announced. And there's some new stops on the official site.
Atlanta, GA 5/27/09-6/21/09 @ Fox Theater.
Orlando, FL 5/6-5/24/09 @ Bob Carr Performin Arts Center

Boy, those are short stops, not even a month. Must be tough for crew and cast. Seems like they have to disassemble and up and go before they even have time to settle in. More people can see them, but only long enough to whet their appetite for more. Then they'll have to figure out how to get their JB fix, just like the rest of us. :)
They're finally turning into a national tour like all other national tours.
I like this headline.

"He'll have to move a bit faster out there — efforts are underway to trim the running time of the show to better match those famous Vegas sensibilities."
Any idea how they'll gonna do that? Are they getting rid of the intermission altogether?
Intermission is going to be shorter, but it'll be there.

They'll probalby do minor cuts throughout the show too. But I think the creatvies were trying to find way to shorten the show with cutting as little as possible. When I saw the Vegas cast near the end of their SF run, it seemed like dialogue was deliverd a bit faster pace then it was before.

I guess they will no longer wait for the applause and cheering and laughter from the audience to quiet down (that will cut time quite a bit). Hopefully, audience-actor rapport does not suffer.
Whatever it is, it seems like they know what they're doing: http://jerseyboysblog.com/?p=2084. I don't think they're cutting more than 20 minutes out of the show, so it's not going to be a total butchering.
