They are both very emotional singers with awesome ranges...and i think the thing that many Elphabas have been missing is emotion in their singing. Not melodrama...but real emotion. of the five Elphabas I have seen, Ana probably came the closest, and Shoshana didn't have a clue!

I can't imagine Heather Headley would use being the second replacement in this show as her vehicle for her big return to Broadway.
She has said repeatedly she won't come back to Broadway until the "perfect" role comes along, and I can't imagine this is it.
