...and now back to your regularly scheduled Idina-bashing.
Well, duh.
SWEENEY TODD closing was.
lmao. Perfect thread.

If you are going to start such a "witty" thread, at least think of something more original than "Idina-bashing."

What else does everyone do? Updated On: 12/29/06 at 10:34 PM
On topic-
The Wedding Singer was a lame Hairspray wanna be with a stupid book, dim witted score and pretty dreadful choreography that looked hokey and weird. Yeah, that's pretty blunt. I just really didn't like it.

Well, we have LEGALLY BLONDE to look forward to.
Daphne leaving LES MISERABLES for a while (*gasp!*)
Then Yuka Takara returning to A CHORUS LINE
SPRING AWAKENING.
The GREASE reality TV show.

I haven't said anything but I saw TWS about three days after it's opening night and actually loved it. Now granting I love just about every show I see (...except Tarzan) doesn't say much, but I actually really liked this show and I wish it could've run another year.
But like you said, it isn't the most tragic thing! =)
amen!

Yeah. Everyone hates on me.
I know alot of people were going to closing night so I wanted to see where they all were sitting.
Calm down kiddies.
This is the most ridiculous post I have ever seen. For all of you that bash the wedding singer so heavily, your favorite shows whether it be grey gardens (which I loved) or spring awakening will soon have the same fate whether you want to hear it or not.
AND....rock on to the fans who are waiting out there for rush tickets! I loved this show!!
Wait - you mean every show closes eventually????
SAY IT ISN'T SOOOOOOO!!!

Rath two things I've learned here on BWW: Every show should run forever and every show deserves a cast album (like they did in the old days).
And, oh yeah, tickets are too expensive. But I go see shows I like dozens of times.

Joe, I was responding to that post directly. I'm still laughing.
I'm looking forward to all of the posts that will start in the next couple of years:
"My high school is doing THE WEDDING SINGER! I'm sooooooo excited! Which part should I try out for? I think I'd be a perfect Robbie but my boyfriend says I'd be a better Julia I might try for both what song should I sing..."
Except nothing will be spelled correctly.
Gotta love their passion, though.
I will miss the show VERY much I love it, but I will survive.
RentHead2, did you even READ the thread before immediately posting the obligatory Wedding Singer fan "You all are stupid haters because I love this show!" reaction? Get a grip, pull your head out of the sand and search for some Lestat threads, because this thread isn't remotely hateful compared to how bad show-bashing actually can be.

This thread is tasteless.
You think so? I thought it had a lovely chocolate mint thing happening.
