re: The Official 'The Wedding Singer's Closing ISN'T The Most Tragic Thing

I haven't said anything but I saw TWS about three days after it's opening night and actually loved it. Now granting I love just about every show I see (...except Tarzan) doesn't say much, but I actually really liked this show and I wish it could've run another year.

But like you said, it isn't the most tragic thing! =)

This is the most ridiculous post I have ever seen. For all of you that bash the wedding singer so heavily, your favorite shows whether it be grey gardens (which I loved) or spring awakening will soon have the same fate whether you want to hear it or not.

AND....rock on to the fans who are waiting out there for rush tickets! I loved this show!!
I made a list of all your faults, it was quite detailed and lengthy too and when I read it through I missed you. Your like a classic Eagles song, you just cant help but sing along even though it sometimes gets annoying too. I just know I want to be wherever I can wake and see you there next to me. **High Fidelity** Love is what I do **The Wedding Singer** Xanadu - Best NEW Musical of the Season!

Joe, I was responding to that post directly. I'm still laughing.

re: The Official 'The Wedding Singer's Closing ISN'T The Most Tragic Thing

I'm looking forward to all of the posts that will start in the next couple of years:

"My high school is doing THE WEDDING SINGER! I'm sooooooo excited! Which part should I try out for? I think I'd be a perfect Robbie but my boyfriend says I'd be a better Julia I might try for both what song should I sing..."

Except nothing will be spelled correctly.

Gotta love their passion, though.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

RentHead2, did you even READ the thread before immediately posting the obligatory Wedding Singer fan "You all are stupid haters because I love this show!" reaction? Get a grip, pull your head out of the sand and search for some Lestat threads, because this thread isn't remotely hateful compared to how bad show-bashing actually can be.
