Exactly. That's why that blog was so refreshing.

In defense of that, at the Met show when I met Jesse, we had camera problems. We have used the camera millions of times, so we knew how to use it, but it chose the moment I was standing there with Jesse to go AWOL. I was so embarrassed as Buzz fussed with the camera, but Jesse was cool.

That's annoying. I can see a camera suddenly acting up, but having a camera that you don't know how to use is odd.

I've had the camera thing happen to me, too. I was so embarassed, and I'm sure Adam was annoyed but tried to be nice. Now I have two videos of me and Adam.

Hee, Tink. I had those pics you sent me on the Blackberry as the wallpaper on my phone until about a week ago.

hehe, actually Jenna, those were taken on my actual phone. I was juggling the two phones, playbills, it was just chaos, hehe.

everyone has camera issues sometimes. but i agree... people who think they're entitled to more than a hello really aggravate me. so did everyone at the stagedoor this summer who felt it necessary to chant adam's name if he didn't come out.

That depends on the location. Stagedoor is one thing. On the street, you don't even deserve acknowledgment.

Then wouldn't you be calling anyone (including the majority of us) who asks for pictures a hypocrite? I know you're not, I just mean that that's a bit of a stretch. Of course, not everyone who asks for things does so with an entitled attitude, but that statement seems to say that if you want anything beyond a hello, you're out of line. And I know you don't think that, heh. Most people who go to the stage door is seeking more than a hello.

no because i've also asked for a picture. however, people who ask for pictures when adam is obviously with his family, also aggravate me. i got mine blocks from the theater, i didn't mob him outside. it's people who think that because they paid money to see a show that they are entitled to see the actor at the stagedoor that bother me. during the return, one of the nights i didn't stage door, some girl (who didn't even know adam's name, let alone who he played in the show) was all pissed because he (in true adam fashion) walked out the front door of the theater and didn't stage door. she was all "we pay his salary, he owes it to us to come out at the stage door". it's people like that who aggravate me.

If you honestly just bump into them, I guess it's okay.

I would think it'd be okay to say hi to someone if you run into them or pass them on the street, and they arent with their family or clearly busy.

not that I'd have the courage to do that, but just hypothetically speaking.

I think that it all depends on the situation when you bump into someone blocks from the stage door. I agree with misschung's statement. However, only saying hi and asking for an autograph and a picture are two different things; the latter might be a stretch.

see, I'm the kind of person who would be debating in my head whether or not to ask him, and by the time I decided, the light would have already changed and I'd be out of luck lol

I think if you're comfortable enough to say hi to someone when bumping into them on the street, then good for you. I know I'd probably do the same as misschung- stand there arguing with myself trying to decide if I should say something. I've done that so many times with people. I'm too shy to do that usually.
