I'll be there...mid Mezz Row A 210, 212. Very excited to see all these amazing performers on the same stage!

I'm so excited! Amazing people + the wild party + caroline, or change + you know, all the other great stuff the public has done + meryl Streep!!!! It's gonna be crazy! I'll be there in the 35 dollar cheap-o seats.

re: The Public Sings

Cheyenne Jackson is also performing.

I'm going!

re: The Public Sings

I wish I could get the $35 cheap seats! I desperately want to attend, but all of the remaining tickets are beyond my budget. If anyone has a lower priced ticket to sell, I would be ecstatic.

re: The Public Sings

Isn't Tonya Pinkins supposed to be performing too? I hope she sings "Lot's Wife"

re: The Public Sings

I didn't read your last sentence.

All those glorious songs!

Alright, I'm transferring!

re: The Public Sings

I'm going - there's an ad in the NY Times today that says

"All singing. All dancing. NO SPEECHES" across the top.

And that... well I have to admit that excited me.
Now what would you say if today I started over? Without a thing but this taped together four leaf clover And I'll pretend like everything is already alright And I'll run toward the sun till the castle's out of sight

re: The Public Sings

I'll be there, in the cheap seats.
#12

re: The Public Sings

Romance in Hard Times was at the Public also. I'm hoping there's some William Finn!!
#13

re: The Public Sings

Re: Romance in Hard Times...

I'm hoping that Lillias White sings "That's Enough for Me".
#14

re: The Public Sings

Pinkins was listed in the original line-up, but her name has disappeared in recent weeks. Perhaps, she has a conflict.

Was Little Fish a Public show?

Man, I'd kill to see Lea sing "Sign" live.

re: The Public Sings

Little Fish played at Second Stage

re: The Public Sings

Little Fish was done by Second Stage, not the Public.

Lea will most likely do her signature tune, "I Can Cook Too" from On The Town.

WRQ-I'll keep my eye out for you and Liotte.

re: The Public Sings

im guessing all the people are singing for free, right? but the public likely paid for their hotel rooms and plane tickets. i wonder what hotel they put everyone in. that would interesting, a hotel full of stars all at once.

re: The Public Sings

Well, all but a couple of those people live in New York -- I think only Braff and Stiller (who I think is actually bicoastal and has an apartment here) -- so they wouldn't need a hotel or a plane ticket. Some may arrive by limo, but I would bet that most of them, being New Yorkers, will take the subway or maybe a cab (I see Tony winners on the subway all the time; and some simply walk to the theatre from their apartments in Hell's Kitchen).

re: The Public Sings

Yeah, I could only pick out three people from the list above that DON'T live in New York: Betty Buckley (Texas), Zach Braff (California) and Lea DeLaria (London).
#24

re: The Public Sings

Lea's based in London, now? I was wondering why every time I've run into Jesse Tyler Ferguson in the last year (we're neighbors and frequent some of the same bars), Lea was nowhere in sight. They were attached at the hip for YEARS.

re: The Public Sings

And they were in LF together.

Wait. Was Zach Braff ever in a musical?
Or am I just retarded (on this account)?

And if he can sing, I will be upset to miss it.

Plus, Betty is there!
I bet we know where Rath will not be...
