I thought Martin Short already booked the Lyceum? Or am I just imagining things. Anyway, maybe Defiance can move over for a limited run. You never know.

What else is still in need of a theater?

I am I correct in guessing that besides the Broadhurst, the Schoenfeld (nee Plymouth) is the most "desireable" of all the houses in the 11000-seat range? Is their much of a different in rents negotiated for the Schoenfeld versus second-string houses such as the Longacre or Cort?

OOps--I meant "1100-seat" range, not 11,000!! Sorry for my repeated typos! --Peter
Tale if Two Cities needs a theatre. The Wiz as well. A Chorus Line and Times They Are A Changin. Oh, and Curtains also.
I will always call it the Plymouth too. Who knows from "Schoenfeld" anyway... Just ask Mr. Schoenfeld to change his name to "Plymouth" if he wants a theatre, it's cheaper.
With the exception of Curtains, I think all the shows you listed are WAY too large for the Schoenfeld. Curtains might be as well, for all I know.
Times They Are a Changin' is mentioned for the Brooks Atkinson in Riedel's column today, after Odd Couple completes its run.
