Sorry if this has been done before. What do you think are the ultimate seduction songs from musicals?
My top 3
1. Whatever Lola Wants (Damn Yankees)
2. A Call From The Vatican (Nine)
3. Sooner or Later (Dick Tracy movie) *This should count, it's Sondheim

Of course "A Call From the Vatican" is at the top of my list. That is my number 1 seduction song, I can't get enough of it. Jane Krakowski's rendition has over a 200 count on my iPod and Anita Morris' isn't too far from that.
Other favorites:
"Sooner or Later"-DICK TRACY (of course it counts, plus it has been on Broadway in PUTTING IT TOGETHER, deliciously performed by Ruthie Henshall)
"Welcome to Holiday Inn"-SEESAW (pretty funny)
"I'd Be Surprisingly Good For You"-EVITA (nothing like manipulative seductive Eva Peron)
"Who Couldn't Dance With You?"-GRAND HOTEL (yes, I have a thing for Jane Krakowksi)
"Small World"-GYPSY
"Big Spender"-SWEET CHARITY
And two odd ones that I personally consider seduction songs (or at least they can be): "I Read" from PASSION and "Daddy's Girl" from GREY GARDENS.
I love "Welcome to the Holiday Inn" maybe someday i will see this live on stage. one day!
"The Perfect Year" - Sunset Boulevard
"I Get a Kick out of You" - Anything Goes
"I'd be surprisingly good for you" - Evita
"Let me Dance for you/the music and the mirror" - A Chorus Line
"Big Spender" - Sweet Charity or Fosse (I prefer that version - sexier)
"Lost and Found" - City of Angels, featuring the classic lyric "If you're not celibate, we could raise hell a bit."
Most of the Songs Aura/Spiderwoman sing in The Kiss Of the Spiderwoman.
Come and find me, hear my song
Let me hold you here where you belong...
Lips are waiting, pain will cease
Calm your anguish
I can bring you peace...
"Moments in the Woods" - Into the Woods
toucha toucha touch me - rocky horror

The Word of Your Body (Reprise), from Spring Awakening
Come, cream away the bliss
Travel the world within my lips
Fondle the pearl of your distant dreams
Haven’t you heard the word of your body?
O, you’re gonna be wounded
O, you’re gonna be my wound
O, you’re gonna bruise too
O, I’m gonna be your bruise
Sung by the amazingly seductive Johnny B. Wright. How could anyone stand a chance?
Tunnel of Love from Sideshow:
Dreamed of being close
Now I'm pressing against his side
Do I dare to make an advance?
He's not made a move
Should I swallow my girlish pride?
This could be my only chance
I had planned to keep the temperature cool
She's raising my Fahrenheit
Don't let passion rule you
Don't be a fool
Don't feel that appetite
Oh what the hell - why fight?
All alone now
No one is watching us
Why not climb over the wall?
Take me and give me your all
My favorite:
"Express Yourself" from Flora, the Red Menace
Featured Actor Joined: 1/2/07
"Where's the Girl," from THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL.
"The Word of Your Body (Reprise), from Spring Awakening...Sung by the amazingly seductive Johnny B. Wright. How could anyone stand a chance?"
I have to agree with everything you said.
"Sooner or Later"
"Marian the Librarian" (does that count? Not sexy, but I like it)
"The Point of No Return"
The Point Of No Return
Big Spender
Moments in the Woods
"Hello Again"
I love it when the kid says "Hell!"
You know, if you sing it right, "Come to My Garden" can be pretty sexy.
Trust me, there was nothing better to do backstage waiting to move a couch than make "Come to My Garden" a torch song.
Already mentioned:
"Where's the Girl?" from the Scarlet Pimpernel
"Point of No Return" from POTO
"I'd Be Suprisingly Good for You" - EVITA
And:
"The Seduction"- Woman in White
"The Seduction (Instrumental)" (Haha) - Jekyll & HYde Concept Album 1
"Dangerous Game" - Jekyll & Hyde
Turn Back O Man can be incredibly seductive. I saw a production where the actress came through the audience and flirted with the guy in the row in front of me. How I wished I had been in his place!
"Kiss the Girl" from Little Mermaid. perhaps?
Sebastian isn't seducing anyone, he's just persuading.
"Poor Unfortunate Souls" is a seduction song. So is "Kiss the Girl."
Special from Avenue Q?
