This one's even better than the first batch.
See if these ring any bells for you.

Tempting, indeed. But if you've ever seen this troll riding around town on his bicycle, pity can be the only logical reaction.
(Or, as he would put it, "Look quick and get out of the way! What pushing-60 gossip peddlar — whose only industry contacts these days are gay-for-pay doormen, meth-addled porn stars, and Broadway message boards — continues to desperately fight irrelevance by furiously pedaling the streets looking for dirt like a bobble-headed Almira Gulch searching for Toto?")

Posted: 8/13/12 at 11:52amWell, it's not as well written as the first part -- but it's all very true. (But gee, just how much time does he spend here reading our posts??)

Posted: 8/13/12 at 12:03pmI will say though that I hate the acronyms and the people who create them, so I agree with him on that one.

Posted: 8/13/12 at 12:52pmThere's nothing wrong with a good acronym- note that I said a GOOD acronym. It has to be obvious, catchy or clever. Bonus points if the acronym is pushed by the marketing team itself- such as n2n, H2$, and so on. But stuff like TAOPQOTD as opposed to Priscilla, is just lazy. And AI for American Idiot is badly designed too, as it calls to mind both Artificial Intelligence and American Idol, both of whom use that acronym.
The Worst Broadway Board Commenters, Part 2!#12
Posted: 8/13/12 at 1:07pmI personally don't think H2$ is a good acronym for How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. I see that one and think of water based on the H2. Before I knew that was used in an older revival before the 2011 production, I used to get frustrated trying to figure out what it meant.

The acronym trolls may be the most annoying.
"BIO", "BOM", "JSS".
Wonder what they call Once--"O"?

How about the commenters who seem to talk only about "Carrie"?
The original vs. the revival. How the original changed in previews. How the new version changed the original. Comparing the sets and the casts. Carrie, Carrie, Carrie. Blah blah blah.

Yeah, boy, I really hate when people come onto a theater message board to contrast and compare different versions of shows. :)
Where else should they discuss Carrie?

They can discuss Carrie on the Stephen King Forum: http://www.stephenking.com/forums/forum.php
There is even an entire page devoted to Carie:

That's great if you want to discuss the book or the movie, or even possibly the Broadway version, though a cursory look at your links didn't turn up anything. I think it's silly to be annoyed by posters who talk about CARRIE - or GYPSY, or FOLLIES.
Or whatever, even unto WICKED, as long as it's about broadway. This is the place for that. It's easy enough to avoid those threads.

The columnist who spends a lot of time reading (trolling) BWW so he can then list all the types of threads and make fun of the posters.
