Posted: 7/4/04 at 6:34pmHe didnt touch Christopher Fitzgerald. His singing was fine but his acting was not right for the part. It didnt help that he was tall and had to be a munchkin.. :)

Christopher Fitzgerald was much better, but just my opinion.
I dont know.. he just looks too young for me in the role. His voice was fine, but had a hard time believing that he really had a thing for Ga-linda.

Posted: 7/4/04 at 7:54pmIt was difficult to believe he really had feelings for Glinda. He came off as exceptionally effeminate, so I didn't take his affections for her seriously. He has a lovely voice, though, and was very gracious in signing for everyone after the show.

My friend saw Randy yesterday and said he was FANTABULOUS. He's definitely a cutie! He also made sure to take pictures and talk to all of his fans which is so sweet.
Queer As Folk is actually on right now! yay for Randy!

I actually thought Randy was fantastic. He has a beautiful voice and I thought he really gave Boq personality. I've seen Christopher in the role three times and never once felt any connection to the character at all.
And like everyone said, Randy is a total sweetheart and has been so kind and gracious to the fans after the shows.

He's pretty good, actually. Granted, I never saw Christopher Fitzgerald, but Randy was perfectly fine in the role. He sang well. He IS a bit tall to be a Munchkin, though.

Ive seen wicked twice and saw the bootleg...all with Chris as Boq and in my opinion he is the weakest link in the show. I mean the bootleg was in october, my first time seeing it was january then in april...i dont think he has grown at all. i dont think hes right for the role. but a very nice guy :)
ps. IM DYING TO SEE RANDY! too bad im not going to
