I've been saying "I need to see Billy! I have to make time!" all semester, and though it should NOT have taken me this long, I've FINALLY bought my ticket for next Tuesday-- a bit of a treat to celebrate the end of exams. I've been so looking forward to it, and I can't wait to finally see it live!
Of course, I'll report back when it's over, if anyone's interested. :]
Also, I love the link that you posted to "Expressing Yourself," sgv123. That's without a doubt one of my favorite of the show's songs, and I've been looking for a bit of video to it for the longest time. David Bologna's a little pip! After seeing that clip, I really hope to have the chance to see him perform the whole number when I go Tuesday.
They will announce when the boys are leaving though, will they not? Is that what's generally done? Because if I miss an opportunity to see a final performance I'd be so sad.
It's amazing how different they look from just a year ago... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CeWrc1vaEg It's funny looking back on that video though, since their nominees now.

Ok love thread regulars... I can't make it to the theatre at all tomorrow (Sat) to check the board, and can't find any forum/board people who are my usual scouts to go either. I'd hate to break the perfect streak I have going with the twitter feed... if anyone is around tomorrow and can check either the mat or eve or both, please please please PM me asap. Thanks!
Tony-nominated Billy Elliot stars David Alvarez, Kiril Kulish and David Bologna will take part in the Fidelity FutureStage audition workshop on May 12.
Liberavieve will you be there on Tuesday the 12th? If so, so will I. This makes my third time seeing the show - can't wait! Have seen Kiril/Frank twice before, but don't care which Billy/Michael I see, truthfully. Just happy to go!
Sorry, I'm not sure considering I'm not even in NYC now. Though you seem like the person on here who knows the most about the scheduling. Do you know how the do the rotations? I'm so curious because when I go again in June I really wanna see a certain Billy. Have you ever found out the night before who was playing the Billy/Michael?
Unfortunately, I can't tell in advance, but I do keep track of who is on when, thanks to a group of BETM forum members and some BWWdrs. (see http://www.twitter.com/BETMUS) Once in awhile, someone will mention who is going on the next day at the stage door, but that doesn't happen that often. Also the schedule has been particularly haphazard lately because of injuries and vacations with both Billys and Michaels.
I am planning on student rushing on Tuesday as well. :)
Have the matinee today covered now, but not evening! Anyone in the area? PM me if you are...

Hmm, Salene. That's interesting. I was going to say, "Guess we know who'll be on Tuesday evening!"-- Trent and Frank, assuming that Kiril, David A, and David B would have been occupied during the day, but it looks from that link that Frank will be taking part, too. There goes my theory!
Also, WishingOnlyWounds2... that kid is so frickin' cute. That is all.
Just got back from the matinee, Kiril was magic, David B. a whirling storm, Haydn in wonderful form, it was like seeing it new and wonderful all over again. I especially appreciated the acting Kiril brings to the part, a vulnerability and heart that makes him very emotionally accessible and makes his future as a performer even brighter.
^^ I asked her a few weeks ago and she told me that she is now contracted into September
