I saw the show for the first time at the Wednesday mat. WOW!! Kiril was AMAZING! Completely blown away. I was very pleasantly surprised with the show. :)

I saw a show either last week or the week before, whenever he was on last, and they made an announcement right before the second half that James T was going to play Mr. B for the rest of the show. He's been out since... assuming its an injury.
Saw the first act tonight. It was good to see Haydn back--hopefully in time for Tony voters/nominators (though I have seen some already at the show). She was good but had some hiccups here and there-- some of the choreography for her first song was a little modified and she needed one of the ballet girls' shoulders to steady herself as she got off of the lift after the song.
Born to Boogie was a little hard to watch. It must be so stressful to come back after a long time off (and recovering) only to do different choreography that what you're used to!!! She still did the cartwheel at the end, though, so props to her!
The one thing that was weird was that she was late for her last scene in the first Act. Billy starts to rush out the door and is supposed to see mrs w coming offstage and runs back. Well, Trent ran back saying "ohhh nooo" like usual and there was silence. She didn't come through the door. There was an ad lib from gregory jbara and one from santino fontana and then haydn finally came in.
She's such a trouper. I love her to death. I'm so glad to see her back. It makes my shifts much more enjoyable.
Tonite: Tommy/David B, Matthew as small boy, Jayne as Mrs W, Kevin B as scab, Liz P as clipboard woman and as announced yesterday Blake Hammond as Mr B Updated On: 4/10/09 at 06:37 PM
This will be 3 for Trent this week. Kiril went on for Trent last Friday because he got sick. So that was 3 for Kiril last week, I think. It usually works out when there are 3 Billy's rotating that one of them will do 3 shows the others 2. But it should go back to 2 a piece once David comes back.
I saw the show both Saturdays and it was amazing! First I saw Trent in the first row right behind the conductor! It was so cool, we stood on the cancelation line and I cant believe we got those seats! Then I saw Kiril in row C seat 107, again from the cancelation line. It was just as wonderful as when I saw it in th afternoon. I absolutly LOVE this show and when I see other shows I dont enjoy them half as much! It truly deserves every award immaginable!
Anyone have predictions for tomorrow? I'm going to both performances. I assume if David's not back tomorrow it'll be Trent and Tommy, but I'm wondering if there's any news...
