And....
slotted spoons dont hold too much soup, but they CAN catch the potato.
Every knot was once straight rope.

There is such a thing as an anvil salesman.

Black is this year's pink.

You can measure your life in spoked wheels.

How about...

Happiness is anyone and anything at all that's loved by you!

What a wonder is a gun!

Dancing is not a crime.

Falling in love with love is falling for make believe.

WiCkEDrOcKS, at the Wednesday matinee on July 7th, Jackie Hoffman came through the front aisle and nobody was sitting there. She said, and I quote, "Ahh! Look at this, we're the best show on Broadway- the whole row is empty, here. Where is everybody? Seein' that chick with the green face over at Wicked? It's boring!".
I will never forget what she said after listening to all the kids in my acting camp singing songs from Wicked the ENTIRE bus ride in. Personally, I think the show is overrated and putting the kids and my opinion together I think I was the loudest of everybody cheering and clapping in the whole house. I LOVE YOU JACKIE HOFFMAN!!! -Penny

Sometimes- in a musical- it's better to focus on one big thing rather than a lot of little things. The audience tends to be much happier that way. And it's easier to write.

Jellicles can and Jellicles do.

Everything in life is only for now.

Go vote your heart....and then tell the cute one you voted for him.

Oh, and I learned the F-word from Rent when I was 11.

"Everything I ever needed to know I learned from Into the Woods" continued!

You can never love somebody else's child the way you love your own
Wanting a ball is not wanting a prince
The greatest good can often lie at the end of the thorniest path
The greater the good, the harder the blow
The harder to wake, the better to have
The knife that is sharp today may be dull by tomorrow
When going to hide, know how to get there! And how to get back! And EAT FIRST!

Many a lesson from Hairspray.

20 | In Baltimore, every day's like an open door and every night is a fantasy.
21 | You'll never see the nicest kids in town frown.
22 | There's a light in the darkness.
23 | Eva Marie is no saint.
24 | Every time you tie your daughter up, the phone rings.
25 | Prisons smell.
26 | Velma Von Tussle wants to douse freedom flame.
27 | No one wants a meal that only offers the least when, girl, we're serving up the whole damn feast.
28 | You gotta love yourself from inside out.
29 | Scatter dodge ball is sorta like a protest rally.
30 | You should add some color and a fresh new 'do.

stop worrying where your going move on
if you can know where your going you've gone
or my favorite in that song

stop worrying if your vision is new
let others make that decision they usually do

all right, now you know:
Life is crummy.
Well, now you know.

I mean, big surprise:
People love you and tell you lies.
Bricks can fall out of clear blue skies.
Put your dimple down,
Now you know.

Okay, there you go —
Learn to live with it,
Now you know.

It's called flowers wilt,
It's called apples rot,
It's called theives get rich and saints get shot,
It's called God don't answer prayers a lot,
Okay, now you know.

Okay, now you know,
Now forget it.
Don't fall apart at the seams.
It's called letting go your illusions,
And don't confuse them with dreams.
Yes sir, quite a blow —
Don't regret it,
And don't let's go to extremes.
It's called what's your choice?
It's called count to ten.
It's called burn your bridges, start again.
You should burn them every now and then
Or you'll never grow!

Because now you grow.
That's the killer, is
Now you grow.

You're right, nothing's fair,
And it's all a plot,
And tomorrow doesn't look so hot —
Right, you better look at what you've got:
Over here, hello?
Okay, now you know,
Right?

When your living in America at the end of the millennium your what you own.

Penny got all of her dancing lessons from Prudy because she shouts not stop and is so twisted to.

Amber Von Tussle is a plastic little spastic.

No Good Dead goes unpunished

Everything in life is only for now

Moma says it doesn't matter of yor a king our a clown once you drive up a mounten you can't back down.

Toad looks funny in a bathing suite.

Sometimes when someone has a crush on you, they'll make you a mix tape to give you a clue.

You're all I've got, no matter what.

There may be something there that wasn't there before.

You alone can make my song take flight.

Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise.

You've gotta go after the things you want while you're still in your prime.

I am the river, you are the river.

This is fun!! :)
