Legally Blonde is at 90%, and over $785K....either the reality show is helping a lot more than I thought, or the fact that kids are out of school is really helping them.
Is this the first sell-out week for In the Heights?
Great numbers for Gypsy and Xanadu.
And wow...I'm continually amazed that 20+ years in, Phantom still draws the crowds it does. Love it or hate it, this is pretty impressive.
Overall, a really good week. Updated On: 6/30/08 at 04:36 PM
I would like to have seen Curtains go out on a high note. Too bad. I'm glad SITPWG did well. At least there were no huge decreases. Happy for the steady week.
YEAH A Chorus Line!!! Keep it going strong!! Goods numbers all around
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
where the hell are these 25 seats they aren't selling every week at South Pacific?? there are little old ladies waiting 'til january to spend their retirement!
Yeah, notice since the Tonys their percentage has shot up a couple of percentage points- they're no longer giving out comps to the Tony voters. The remaining seats are held back for the big donors.
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”

Grosses make me more angry with each coming week. When is the last time a good show has been at 100% attendance? Why is Passing Strange doing so badly? Who the hell is still seeing Mamma Mia?!
How is passing strange staying open with those terrible numbers? They have also pulled all their discount codes since they won the Tony. Yeah good luck to you Stew!

Reviews and the like
I was thinking the same thing about Passing Strange. Either their discount code embargo will end or the show will. I hope it's the former, since I really want to see the show when I am in New York in October.
Formally Stews_Bitch:::
Shows in the 2010 Season for me. 101 Dalmations tour - Jan 24th, Xanadu Tour - Mar 9th and 10th, Wicked - May 14th, Legally Blonde - June 12th:::::::Upcoming - South Pacific, Young Frankinstein (Two Cities) Rock of Ages (Two Cities) Shrek (3 Cities) Les Mis, DreamGirls, Spring Awakening, Color Purple, and 9 to 5!
Passing Strange is on TDF through July 17 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thrusdays, but seating is only in the second balcony, which would suck if you got the last two rows. The last two rows are $26 at regular price, which would mean paying more to see it through TDF. interesting.
