Does anybody know when Three Sisters at NYTW go on sale? I was looking to get them for a christmas gift for someone but Im not sure if theyll be on sale by then. Thanks!

I'm sorry I can't help you with a date for this, but I am surprised more productions don't post when their tickets go on sale. Maybe call them?

Not only have they not announced when tickets go onsale, they haven’t even announced when the production itself is happening. The website still just says it’s happening in the “2019-2020 season”

Tickets at NYTW typically go on sale 6-7 weeks before the first preview. This show probably isn't until April or May -- I'd imagine Three Sisters will probably not go on sale until March at the earliest. Sorry, I think you're out of luck on this one.

You could buy them a flex or partial season membership which they could then redeem for tickets once they're on sale. I'd call the box office. They're generally pretty helpful over there.

According to the firm that handles NYTW’s PR, the production begins previews in early May toward a June 1 opening. If the 6-7 weeks theory holds true, that would mean tickets would go on sale in late March/early April. Given that they have been heavily marketing subscriptions on the basis of getting access to tickets to this, don’t be surprised if the production is also heavily sold by the ticket it goes on sale to the general public.

I’ve been keeping pretty close track of this production since it was first announced, and I have no memory of Heidi Schrek ever being involved. Are you sure you aren’t getting Schrek and Gerwig confused?

I spoke to someone involved at NYTW recently and they confirmed what most of you are saying, performances will begin sometime in mid-May (they mentioned May 13 as a tentative first preview date) but they are still ironing out production timelines. They anticipated tickets to go on sale sometime in mid-March.

Interesting. I stand corrected!
However, the LA Times article was published about a month and half before the production’s official press release, which had no mention of Schrek. And from what I could tell, Schrek’s name was never on the production page on the NYTW website. So I’m guessing something fell through sometime in between.
I hope I’m wrong though! Would be all the more excited for this if Schrek were adapting it!
