Tick, Tick, Boom!

What other actors, other then the Original Cast (Raul! YEAH!) would you like to see perform in TTB? Just a random thought I had.

re: Tick, Tick, Boom!

I've heard he's not the best actor (havent seen him, so I can't judge), but Adam Pascal's voice would be great as Jon!

re: Tick, Tick, Boom!

*nods in agreement with timote* It would be awesome to see Adam play Jon!

re: Tick, Tick, Boom!

I know colin hanlon (from rent) did jon on the tour, and i really wish i could have seen that. he just has the perfect "jon" voice

re: Tick, Tick, Boom!

does anyone else wish they could have seen Jonathan Larson actually perform in this show?! ::sigh::: He was so gifted and tekn away from us WAY too soon. Is it weird to miss and mourn for a man I never met?

re: Tick, Tick, Boom!

i saw joey mac in the tour and he was amazing... he really impressed me, acting and singing... after i bought the recording i find myself remembering joey's performance rather than raul's...

re: Tick, Tick, Boom!

To clarify, Colin did the George Street Playhouse production in NJ and not the tour.

I would love to see Neil Patrick Harris play Jon.

re: Tick, Tick, Boom!

I second NPH. He's great. I would love to see Michael Cerveris and Euan Morton try the role.

I don't think Euan's voice is suited, but I would like to see Anthony Rapp give it a shot.

re: Tick, Tick, Boom!

I third NPH. Love him. And it would have been absolutely amazing to see Jon perform it himself.

re: Tick, Tick, Boom!

What about Euan and Michael isn't right for the role?

NPH, yes. Adam, no way. Euan... maybe. Michael, I have no idea. He could probably do it... he's so talented.

I'd like to see Mark Price take a crack at it. He'd sing it better than NPH.

re: Tick, Tick, Boom!

Let's estimate - how many hours until this post about tick tick boom becomes overtaken by Wicked? Surely someone will say something about Idina playing the role of susan or some bull****. What do you think?

And personally, I'd love to see Christopher Reeve play Jonathan.

re: Tick, Tick, Boom!

I know, i'm an asshole. LEt's see how many PM's I get for making fun of a dead guy. I was leaving bombay tonight and walked past wicked to the subway and almost had to open fire at the stage door - it was sickening.

I wanted to see Trey Ellet. I saw him back when he did Rent, and was blown away by him. Wonder what the guy is up to now.

No, really. Haha. I would've given my left leg to see Colin Hanlon as Jon. I love that man beyond words.

And, whoa, to Adam Pascal. No. Just.. no. I love Adam as much as the next, but --- no.

Meh. I shouldn't even reply to this - I can't think of anyone I'd want to see play Jonathan, except the man himself.

re: Tick, Tick, Boom!

Yea, I would say Adam in this show would me a mistake - I also think Anthony would be wretched. WE all know what happened when he did HEDWIG. Let's not go there. I think Matt Cavenaugh would be splendid. Surely they can add a nude scene for him.

I would have loved to see Jonathan in it.
And this is where Insomniak rolls her eyes at me. But I want to see Jeremy do it too. re: Tick, Tick, Boom!

If only I had Meghan posting on here, Krissy. You and her could have your Jeremy moment together.
