Just another poster who thinks he's clever. Just another actor who thinks he's clever (a la John Hill.) Why don't they just shut their mouths, look pretty and sing? Then what's the point in doing an interview? If you ever saw Cary in concert you would know that he's got a great sense of humor and never takes himself seriously. And that's a big reason his fanbase is strong and devoted. He's a genuinely nice guy who appreciates working and performing.

Actually Les Mis is not about the French Revolution. Just a little nitpick. And I vote for One Day More as well.

I heard that a foreign production of Rent actually had Mimi not come back in the end. Did anyone else hear this? It was quite the scandal back in the day.

Ah, the seven deadly sins, but only five boyz. But there are seven boyz, if you count the swingz.

If you're interested in plays, try the two best plays this year - The Pillowman and Doubt. When they duke it out come Tony time you'll be able to say you saw them both. There's also Altar Boyz, just a block west of where you'll be seeing Spelling Bee. It's a feel-good show that is a lot of fun and has fun music, great choreography (you can say you saw Chris Gattelli's work before he blew up on Broadway!), and the Boyz aren't so bad to look at either. If you like that kind of thing.

But seriously, I think you have to break down "fan" Are you someone they bump into at parties, someone who obsessively waits at the stage door for them, someone that "happens" to bump into them on the street? Or do you not need to see/talk to them on a daily basis and just view them as someone with a cool job? Because I think there are a lot of crazies out there that think they're friends with some Broadway actors/actresses and it's just the performer being nice to them. Still acting.... And ...

I still love the irony that Sean's track makes him most of the guys in the show, along with saying things like "I hear her soul is so unclean, pure water can melt her!" What's ironic about that, I'm wondering. Am I missing something? Also, I don't think that the "pure water can melt her" is sung by Sean - is it? It doesn't sound like him. I'm gonna refrain from posting my opinions on the Rent movie until it's acutally a done deal and out in theaters. But I wanted to respond to this: And also the implication that stage performers are not good enough to do film. ::shakes head:: I believe the article quoted said "casting stage performers a decade too old", and didn't say that they weren't good enough to do film because they were stage actors. Just clarifying. In other words, they didn't imply it, you inferred it.
