I believe Live Nation is the parent company of Ticketmaster. Perhaps there was a separate lawsuit, but all of my e-mails and FAQs regarding my Ticketmaster venues have mentioned Live Nation venues only are eligible for redemption.

I just wanted to tell everybody, that as of this morning, there are several events posted for the supposed free general admission tickets. However, when I went to use my codes for amphitheater general admission seating, the codes did not work. I tried this for two different events, specifically for their lawn/ga seating. If you have better luck, share your wisdom. I am going to contact Live Nation this morning.

I also tried to use just the $2.25 code and even that didn't work. This is bogus bulsht.

I completely agree. I have about 17 codes and just tried for a concert at PNC and it wouldn't go through. Frankly, I don't want to sit in gen admission anyway. This is more trouble than it's worth. Just what TM was hoping for.

Melissa, They do state that the "free" tickets are limited which means they are probably allotting only two tickets total per event. However, the message I am getting is voucher not allowed or something similiar to that in meaning.
ArtMan, I got the same message and I was just trying for 2 tickets. Best of luck with it.

You can't even speak to a live Ticketmaster/Live Nation rep due to high phone call volume. They disconnect the call. They tell you to call back later.

My voucher codes for the general admission tickets have now disappeared. All that remain, as of this writing, are the $2.25 voucher codes!

The general admission tickets disappeared yesterday on me as well. All I see are the 2.25 discounts. I looked at the concert list, I did not see anything in New York, not even Jones Beach. I only see Holmdel, NJ and Camden, NJ that are in the area.

I see the ticket codes now in my account.
Do the free ticket codes cover the service fees that Live Nation lists when you get to checkout?

Yes it was covered. I tried an event at PNC and it worked no problem for me.
You'd think there'd be more NYC options - like Tiffany, The Proclaimers, and The Bangles are the only artists I've even heard of.
Le sigh!
The General Admission tickets are for the Lawn section at PNC in Holmdel NJ - BIG DEAL - not worth the the drive from Brooklyn and the Verranzano Bridge $20 toll - THANKS Ticketmaster for NOTHING

Robert, the general admission tickets for all of the outside amphitheater events are the lawn. Broadway Joe, can you elaborate that your general admission voucher covered the fees? The Ticketmaster supervisor I spoke to yesterday stated it did NOT. I could see them still charging for the fees. Broadway Joe, then your purchase total was zero for your general admission tickets? The list for eligible events changes hourly. To the worst.

ALL of the events are sold out. The website states that 5 million in vouchers have been used. Interesting, since when I tried to use my vouchers for general admission, it came back vouchers not good. I was able to save $4.50 on a Gwen Stefani ticket.
TM is a piece of s@#t. Those vouchers are ridiculous. They should have just given everyone a credit. The only events left are horrendous cover bands. Also, they need to offer events EVERYWHERE. There was nothing I could attend that was remotely close and I live in a major city.

So far I've been able to get FREE tickets to Pat Benetar and Melissa Etheridge, Snoop Dogg, Train, Heart and Joan Jett, and Gwen Stefani! I'm pleased with the offerings so far, and more are supposed to be added!

This was posted last night.
UPDATE JUNE 22 11:30 PM EDT
At this time, nearly $5m worth of eligible ticket vouchers have been redeemed and the first wave of eligible events has been closed. Given the overwhelming interest, Ticketmaster is adding another $5m worth of eligible tickets so more class members can redeem ticket vouchers. Please check back tomorrow for additional information
Love how they are making it sound like they are only adding more stuff because of how fast the vouchers are going. Sorry, but they need to make stuff available through 2020, since that's when the vouchers expire. I haven't found much that I want to see that's reasonably close.

If 5 million went in a couple of days and they are adding another 5 million (whatever), how do they expect these vouchers to last until 2020? Barbraboy19902, tell us your secret? Everytime I tried to use the general admission codes for general admission seating (lawn) it would tell me my code is no good. Then my codes completely disappeared. Then when they reappeared, it still told me my codes were no good. Then everything sold out. So tell us...how you did it. Plus, I'm curious, you did have to pay the fees on the free tickets, right?

My codes were denied too, until I discovered that I had to choose "E-tickets" as my shipping method. Surprisingly, no fees had to be paid! Total came to $0 for all shows. For two of the shows, it allowed me to get 4 tickets, and for the Snoop Dogg show it allowed me to get the VIP lawn package, which included early admission and a Merch package.

I tried for the Pat Benetar/Melissa Etheridge concert, the Heart/Joan Jett concert and Brad Paisley but was SOL. I'm jealous. You must live in either NC, Atlanta, Tampa or West Palm?

Yeah...I live in Columbus, GA...about 90 minutes south of Atlanta. It seems like I got super lucky based on some stories I've heard. I still have 12 vouchers left. Hopefully they add more shows!
