To Wonderwa11 and legally_popular:
Thanks for the reports. Good to know that NY gets right back up on its feet no matter what.
"Maybe if it succeeds next time you will change your opinion."
That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
New York, New York. It's a WONDERFUL town.
Times Square, Sunday evening.
We were staying at the Marriott. We caught the matinee of Night Music, had dinner then saw Mas Jobrani at Carolines. He's Persian and most of his routine is about how people from the Mideast are seen as a threat. He is brilliant. Then we walk out of the show at 49th. and straight into the barricades of a failed attempt. Weird!
Got back into the hotel at 3am.

Roxy, do you even read what other people write or are your reactionary posts to what you THINK we must have written? Because what you put there makes no sense.
I never read his posts. What did he say about what he thought we were saying?

He wrote that this incident is a wake-up call that will shake "us" out of our "complacency."
I told him he should speak for himself because nobody I know is complacent about the possibility of terrorism. Adam Greer said something similar. Jane2 said she agreed with us.

Ipso facto dipso a-hole.
ABC News has the surveillance footage of the 40-something white guy they think might have done it.
He's changing shirts in Shubert Alley.
Is This the NYC Bomber?
The FBI is no longer identifying him as a white guy. Now ABC's Aaron Katersky says they're zeroing in on a suspect who is a nationalized U.S. citizen of Pakistani descent.
