Might I suggest Chicago? Let's just get it over with.
Ugh. He'd never survive the grueling schedule.

When did Tom Cruise ever say he wanted to be in a Broadway musical? Source, please, if any.
Uhm,
His second link..
"Leno inquired if Cruise would ever consider taking a role on a Broadway stage, Cruise gave the talk show host a very positive answer, "Yes, I do movies and everything, but I wouldn't say no to Broadway. I'd like to do a musical"."
Could you sound more condescending, Ed?
"Source, please, if any."
His Elvis and singing on Leno wasn't bad.

I say a musical version of "Taps" with Savion Glover. (rim shot please!)
And I know what his solo would be if he did a musical
"Jump on the couch 'til the springs pop out
Act a fool and scream and shout"
I saw the interview. Seemed to me he was saying he wouldn't do Broadway but he would do a musical. As in a film musical.
I heard he's going to play Roger in the 2010 Rent revival. You're never too old to play that part.
Exactly. From all sources involved (the media, press, etc.)... he was implying a movie musical -- NOT the Broadway stage.
Listen to his comments again.

If he's got the money, Broadway's got the time.
Simple rule of any biz.
What about "Scientology: The Musical?"
He could win a Tony as Xenu.
Can he sing at all? Maybe he mentions that in the video, but I refuse to watch it to find out.
They drummed you out of Hollywood....so you come crawling to Broadway. Well, Broadway doesn't go for thetans and Xenu.

I didn't care about Tom Cruise. I was more excited about Leno talking what a big Broadway fan he is. "Broadway IS MY LIFE!!"
I can't think of any musical worth filming that Cruise would be appropriate for.
