Even for tonight.....several center orchestra seats available in the $60 range."
Was someone out?

I also got orchestra seats for around $40 (including fees). Full cast was in, so I'm guessing Stubhub people just overestimated the demand for this show.
It always gives me pleasure when the professional scalpers fail.
Thanks for the notice, HBBrock! I got mezz seats for today's matinee for $28 each including fees (the price printed on each ticket was $99).

You are all very welcome!
Nobody was out. This show in general is just a case of scalpers buying way too many tickets for the actual demand and falling flat on their faces.
In the end, those who catch these deals win.

For tonight, you have several orchestra seats listed right now for $23-$33 in the busiest most lucrative week of the year.

this was a steal, back row center of the Mezz for $30, ticket i was given was purchased for $99, didnt have to sit in the cold for standing room
just feel bad for the actors that scalpers bought so many tickets that they cant resell because there was easily 2 dozen empty seats in the mezz this afternoon.
oh well
Is this show flopping?
They had a giant advance. I think they’re fine. The tickets have been paid for. It’s the scalpers that are losing.
Eek! two dozen empty seats?! How awful. (This is my sarcasm font.) Pretty sure most actors would bwe thrilled to only have 24 empty seats in the theatre.
For the booth, that's about 3% of the theater.
This show has been like this on stubhub for awhile now. I saw it right after it opened via stubhub for orchestra seats for 40 bucks. I liked the show but was thrilled I didn't have to rush it because I didn't want to spend a ton of money on an 80 min show.
Thanks for the heads up about the StubHub seats! I am hoping to pick up a last minute ticket for this weekend later on. I saw it once, but would love to catch this again.

Tickets are in the same price range as this for the Band's Visit on StubHub.
This is amazing! I’ve never used Stub Hub. Definitely not a scam?

Stubhub best thing for the internet in years. As of 3 years ago they did 2 billion in sales per year and have been owned by EBay for a decade.
In addition I have used them hundreds of times and have had a couple of issues with bogs tickets and they have provided refunds and last minute tickets for event.
most sports teams have arrangements with them to make sure a user can get a ticket if something happens.

StubHub is not a scam.
Meteor Shower might be.
Ugg I am never using Stub Hub again. I tried to purchase two tickets. I saw the total in checkout and ordered the tickets. They charged my credit card an extra $28. I called them, and they said that those were the fees and I was notified before confirming my purchase. I told them that I was not notified, and they told me that I was lying ?? They won’t refund my tickets.
You were most likely notified, now the fact that you didn’t catch that is a different story.
Yup, the fees are always there.

They show the subtotal and when you click the checkout tab they are added before you purchase the tickets. It's always displayed before you click "buy". It was there and easy to find, you just didn't see it. For it not to be there, they would have had to set up an entirely different software protocol for you alone just to con you out of $28 and I seriously doubt they did that. I have my own issues with Stubhub about the size of their fees, the volume of junk e-mails they send me etc., but not knowing the fees before I buy is not one of them.

I had bought dates for two different shows. I had one up on Stubhub but returned them when Alan Tudyk left the show. I'm glad i did because I likely wouldn't have made the money back on it.

You were 1000% notified of all the fees loud and clear before clicking purchase.
Nope I was not.
