If anyone is interested, you can pre-order the Tony Awards Playbill at the Playbill Store and they guarantee delivery before the Tony broadcast. At $25 each they ain't cheap, but I'm having a small Tony party and thought it would be cool to have one, so I bought one copy for everyone to share. I'd love to buy enough so that all of my guests could have their own copy, but not at those prices.

I haven't bought a Playbill from them before. Does anyone know if they package their Playbills so they don't bend and crease?

Or you can pick one up for free at any Broadway theatre the weekend of the Tony Awards.

$25 is such a rip off.

The ones at the theaters the week before the Tonys is an insert. It isn't the full Tony Playbill/program. They don't give out the actual program at theaters the weekend of the Tonys. At least they didn't when I went and I saw 3 shows the weekend of the 2006 Tonys.

Well $25 is better than paying $800 to get me to New York City and getting it,lol.

I am assuming the format is about the same each year jay. Mine had pictures of all of the presenters, the list of nominees, Tony History, some articles on past Tony awards shows (I went to the 60th annuaul so they were looking back), Broadway healines (Events during the year), An article on the person who received the Lifetime Achievement Award (Harold Prince that year)The actual program for the evening is pretty far into the Playbill. The list of nominees has pictures of the nominees.
