N2N was robbed for best book, Billy is gonna have a sweep and im sorry to say but i dont think it deserves it
I have to agree. I'm really pleased that a British musical is doing so well on Broadway, but it just doesn't feel as new or as original as Next To Normal, so I'm hoping the latter will get the recognition it deserves later on tonight/this morning (GMT).

Great that Billy has one 6 Tony's and also good that Next to Normal and Shrek have one each,

Its overated with a weak score and a watered down book. Dont get me wrong i enjoyed it but the praise it gets is a little OTT

Much as I love Billy Elliot, I am over the moon that Tom Kitt & Brian Yorkey won for Best Score for Next To Normal! It is one of the most amazing scores I've ever heard - cannot get enough of listening to the CD!

No surprises there, that Hair got best revival and Alice Ripley got best actress, these were both tipped to get it.

Very few surprises all around. Billy was expected to near-sweep, and most of the predictions had N2N pegged for Score and for Alice, which will hopefully keep the ticket sales up at least a little bit.
