re: Tony Sunday :)

TVU Player? I assume you've got it open so you can see the endless lists of options and the little screen? There's a search box somewhere near the top; do a search for CBS (channel number is 10018, iirc) and that should bring it up on the screen for you. Alas, it won't have anything relevant for a few hours, but if you go to TonyAwards.com and click on that red box on the right (should say "LIVE!" in big letters), then you'll get the red carpet footage, shortly to turn into the pre-awards. :3

I obviously know that but I was just being nice because this thread keeps being bumped up and you guys aren't posting on the other ones. Wow, rude.

It's a personal bugbear of mine. If you don't like my reaction to it, then don't raise the subject again.

jamiekennywicked, how're you doing? My instructions not too garbled, I hope?

How true ...

Well I have made the decision to head to bed and set my alarm for 4 (may or may not wake up then, but at least want to give myself the option). Enjoy the chat tonight and will join in again tomorrow!!!

re: Tony Sunday :)

Yeah, I'm not into spoilers, so once the creative awards are done, I'm abandoning the theatre parts of the internet until I've caught up via the medium of TVU Player. (As long as it doesn't do what it did last year and start sucking hardcore. XP)

Sounds about right, sounds like it's working. :) Except you have to wait until 4am our time before it starts showing the Tony awards. I know it sucks, but I guess beggars can't be choosers. :/

Go to TonyAwards.com for the Creative Arts awards webstream. We can watch those live at least. :3

What time do the awards finish? (Our time) x
#95

re: Tony Sunday :)

The awards themselves will finish around 4am our time, if I'm working it out correctly. Unless you're watching on TVU Player, in which case they're probably starting around 4am our time. We are such mugs. XD

re: Tony Sunday :)

Sorry for not making my presence known before now - I was engrossed in an infomercial about vacuum cleaners on TVU. re: Tony Sunday :)

Thanks to Weez for the tip-off. Hopefully I'll be able to stay awake (or doze off and wake up) for the main awards.
Seen some shows in my time....

re: Tony Sunday :)

I approve of Billy Elliot on a theoretical level, but I see it sweeping the awards, and I don't think I want that. Ah well. Are the creative awards done now? Should I shower or nap first?
