I thought I heard Nick Jonas was coming into the show? Could it be that John Llyod Young is a placeholder until they can get Nick in?

I'm sure after winning the Tony and whatnot he doesn't want to go into the show for an extended period as it seems to be a step-back in his career. I'm surprised he doesn't just take a job doing Fieyro in weekend or something like that. At least it's another credit.

Maybe he'll do the show for, at the most, 6 months(through the end of the year). Jonas could join in January.

kidbroadway2 - if my memory is correct, he missed quite a few shows. I know the night I saw "Jersey Boys", he was the only member of the cast not performing.

ACL2006: The announcement says Young's run is only through 9/30 so someone else will be stepping into the run as of 10/1.

That does sort of coincide with the rumor about Nick coming in, but I' m not sure yet if I believe that rumor.

I can't imagine he won't have an alternate. He negotiated to have one post-Tony, and all the Frankies have had one since.
