CBS will be airing the "Broadway's Back" special, but the ceremony itself will only be available on Paramount+ for subscribers.
Of course, one could always get the free 7 day trial shortly before the show and then cancel immediately after.
The Tony website specifically states CBS AND Paramount will air the awards. (Just looked.)
From the Tony website:
"This landmark Broadway evening will kick off with the live presentation of the American Theatre Wing’s 74th Annual Tony Awards® (Sunday, September 26 at 7:00 pm ET/4:00 pm PT), live exclusively on Paramount+."
"Immediately following, The Tony Awards Present: Broadway’s Back! (Sunday, September 26 from 9:00 to 11:00 pm ET/PT) will air on the CBS Television Network, and be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+ and the CBS app."
The awards will only be on Paramount+ and "Broadway's Back" will be on CBS as well as Paramount+.

I'm only going to watch because I'm excited about the competition in the "Best Actor in a Musical" category.

I truly don’t think Tveit deserves any awards for that awful acting - great vocals, but you know, the only nominee might as well give it to him. But sad to see such a lackluster performance awarded. But tis 2020.

With the exception of Danny Burstein, all of the acting, Tveit included, was so-so; not terrible but not great. It didn't help that the book is pretty bad.
Aaron is amazing, gracious, beautiful and so talented. I love him in Moulin Rouge, cannot wait to see him again and finally get to see him win his well deserved Tony!
