I appear to be watching it, courtesy of: http://tinyurl.com/6m5pqx (I converted it to a TinyURL, but it's from the Tony awards website; I promise I'm not sending you anywhere suspect!)
If I ever got the chance, I would totally love to get drunk with Julie White and Michael Cerveris. :3
WOW. Thanks!!
p.s.: this is hilarious.
I love how they have boards with celebrity photos sitting in the seats! I presume for camera rehearsal, but it's very funny nonetheless.
And I notice that they are saying "Macbeth" and not "Scottish Play". I guess Radio City isn't technically a theatre...

Some speeches actually sound sort of legit...?
This is really fun! The silliness of it all just further cements my love for Cerveris.
AH! It won't work for me!
Hey, since we're watching this, does that mean they'll stream the actual awards too? That would save me watching the California CBS stream on the TVU Player.
Heee... "If you have a pager, please do yourself a favor and get a cell phone. People are starting to talk about you..."
...and it ended with "two huge knockers". :)
Hopefully this will be streaming throughout the day and it'll be as interesting as that guy's conversation at the Drama Desk Awards intermission.

Baby Simba looked like a CareBear.
What in god's name was that Rafiki just held up? Didn't look like a lion cub to me!
Aw man, performances! Yay! Has this been timed so that everyone can do their performances at rehearsal, or will shows that have a performance today just not be taking part?
Y'know, what with getting performances, and with all the stand-ins, this might actually be better than the award ceremony itself. XD
Sinead Cusack has... changed a little since I last saw her... O_O
I agree Weez. This is great! Too bad the real awards didn't go this fast.
EDIT: I take that back. Commercial breaks also. Although that makes sense since they have to practice the set changes also in real time.

I had to download a plug in, and I just missed Cry Baby...darn it!
It feels like I'm spoiling watching the show by watching this! But I'm doing it anyways.
Yeah, I tell myself it's not *really* spoilery, because it's not like we're getting the winners, but my brain isn't strictly listening. But it doesn't really care either.
