Hun, don't take this as an insult, but that's unfortunate.

And you're not a rock fan, yet Rent is at #4?

What's preventing you from seeing more shows? Location? Money?

Still, choosing to see CRY-BABY over some of the other great shows on Broadway is a crying shame.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

And you probably can't go that often because you're only 10 years old...

"I mean, sitting side by side with another man watching Patti LuPone play Rose in GYPSY on Broadway is essentially the equivalent of having hardcore sex." -Wanna Be A Foster. "Say 'Goody.' Say 'Bubbi.'" ... "That's it. Exactly as if it were 'Goody.' Now I know you're gonna sing 'Goody' this time, but nevertheless..."

No, I just took my 12 year old son to a bunch of shows. He loves acting and theater. He wants to be on broadway when he grows up. Do you have any advice for him, he has been taking acting for 6 years.

I actually keep a list of every show I've ever seen and I try to keep a running rank, although that's getting near impossible to rank every show. I may just start making tiers... anyway:

2 Jesus Christ Superstar
3 Putnam County Spelling Bee
4 Starlight Express
5 Bring in 'da Noise
6 Billy Elliot
7 Wicked
8 Avenue Q
9 Next to Normal
