If I asked my Father his favourite, none of the 'modern rubbish' would appear in his list!!!! But his list would no doubt be contemporary to the decades he regularly visited the theatre. So he'd enjoy 'The Flower Drum Song' - originally at the Palace Theatre, London. Plus Oklahoma! Oh and any of the film musicals featuring Doris Day!

My favorites are (in no particular order):
The Wiz (OBC or movie soundtrack)
Kiss Of The Spider Woman (Chita and Vanessa) I can’t wait for JLo!
The Secret Garden (OBC)
Big River (OBC)
Annie (OBC)
Peter Pan (OBC and Cathy Rigby) I wish Sandy Duncan’s version was recorded.
R&H Cinderella (O T.V. C, Lesley Ann Warren, OBC)
Rocky Horror (Picture) Show (OLC and movie soundtrack)
Grease (movie soundtrack)

La Cage (OBC)
Sunset Boulevard highlights (Canada)
Chess (London concept pre-remastering)
Les Mis (Rotterdam 2008)
Nine (Australia)
Grey Gardens (off-Broadway, but I do love Erin Davie on the Broadway. The replacement songs for Bway are all lacking for me)
Joseph (Canada)
42nd Street (OBC)
And of course Ragtime (OBC)

I'm not going to list 25 - but I'm kind of shocked that these four aren't on there:
- Sophisticated Ladies - OBC - my favorite:) Phenomenal recording with stellar singers
- My Fair Lady - OBC - no explanation needed
- Hair - Revival - you have to have some Gavin Creel on here.
- City of Angels - OBC - probably the one I listen to the most after Sophisticated Ladies
