Tour of The Ed Sullivan Theater (& 'The Late Show' Set)

I'm sure that after Colbert ends his run this week, CBS (aka see -- BS!) will rename the theater after the Orange Turd.

That would be seen as a surface level contradiction. While I truly couldn't care less about what they named this theatre, see reference to previous comments, I would attend for the show, not the name of theatre.... new paragraph, new idea... I would love if they named it after these people, or a theatre after them

My comment was definitely a compliment! I've seen you use this technique to great rhetorical effect several times. As I said, I'm just glad you've never challenged me in this way, because I doubt I'd stand up to the scrutiny.

So here's how this response progressed...

I wanted to stay on topic, so I waited and pondered. I thought, "I hope he doesn't feel like I'm mad, or ignoring his comment". I just didn't want to lose the thread.

In the meanwhile, inlovewithjerryherman commented on Theatrefanboy1's post, and that's when I knew this post was no longer about The Ed Sullivan Theater, and that the original intent was toast.

Soooo... still not proud (although I'd do it again in a heartbeat, if/when it's called for), but:

Hopefully someone like ATG will work out a deal with Paramount and return it to theatrical use. CBS has no use for it and it shouldn't fall into the wrong hands.
