Good point--ABC's Brothers & Sisters name dropped Wicked in at leats 6 episodes I counted but of course I didn't find that as odd because it's set in LA, where not many musicals areplayign that people would know, and creator/headwriter of B&S is playwright John Robin Baitz who for a long time was a couple with the director of Wicked, and is still pretty good friends.

Yes! Ugly Betty is the best. Ever. That musical episode is going to rock [I mean, it has Patti in it. Of course it's going to rock].

Yeah (about the brothers and sisters/wicked references) Wicked became Kevin's favorite show. And Justin took Kevin to see it once before he was shipped off to Iraq. And Kevin and Nora were going to see it for Nora's birthday.

Yeah.... I like the show....

Nope. Due to the affected timeframe schedule caused by the Writer's Strike, this 'musical' episode will not be happening this season.

Per Executive Producer Silvio Horta:

We're not going to lose anything by doing only 5 episodes instead of nine. Honestly, and maybe because these are circumstances of the reality I have to live with, 18 episodes feel much more organic to where we were going this season. There are some ideas that we wanted to do, but it doesn't feel like we're hurting anything or taking anything away. We're not doing a musical episode. That will not happen this season. Hopefully, next year.
