Alright...now that we've cleared this little altercation up, can we get back to the reviews? Anxiously awaiting Spelling Bee...
Also, John, I hope Piazza's on your list of shows to see soon. It's really a one-of-a-kind show. I'd be interested in your take on it. I'm still sorting out mine 2 weeks later...
Well, I'm just heading out to get drunk (so early - someone call AA) so they might be up tonight (drunken ramblings) or tomorrow (hung-over ramblings).
I'm going to see Wicked on Saturday, for the matinee. Anyone know is Shoshana or Saycon is on. I kinda want to see both while I am here.
Piazza is on my list, but at the bottom. I bought the OCR and listened with an open mind. I keep getting bored. I'm fond of shows with a little more clout, and I often worry that I'm some sort of plebian who doesn't appreciate subtlety. I will probably end up seeing it while I am here.

do. I wasn't enthralled by the OCR, but have a hard time turning it off now. It's quite an amazing show. And the set design is really worth the price of admission alone.
off you go. I shall await the drunken ramblings.

Thanks for giving me such a beautiful review about DRS.
"Compare to Eden Espinosa and Dan Fogler who seemed more interested in running away. Which of course they're perfectly entitled to do (you do only pay for a performance, not an autograph) but it is kinda sucky to be treated like that, especially when you are patronising their show."
Eden Espinosa LOVES all of her fans and she ALWAYS stays after the show to sign, and smile :] She's a great person. Maybe she just had a bad day ?
I toally agree about Eden. What has done that amkes her derve to be a DIVA. She did a poor show, that i loved lol, and nobody liked it she should be happy ANYONE wanted ot meet her. she was soooooo much nicer when she was with wicked, i guess thats wut happens when u star in a piece of ****......and i love the show!
about the "bad day" i have yet to meet her on a "good day." she didnt even look up at me when she signed and a little grl told her she wanted to be on bway like her and eden just walked by didnt look or smile at her.
ooops i got edited, sorry guys!

Ummm ok well Eden is most definitely NOT a diva. When i've seen her at the stage door she's been very soft spoken and polite and very gracious too. And as far as you asking why anyone would want to meet Eden...uhhh have you seen her perform?? She's amazing!

Well maybe she just hates you WickedGeek28, I won't blame her..
But seriously Eden is far from being a Diva. She's very nice and always likes to talk with her fans!
When I saw her at the SD, she was nice, but she seemed a little shy which could give off the Diva air.

Yeah she does seem shy at the stage door, soft spoken, but not in the least bit rude. Perhaps she just didn't hear that little girl who you say she "ignored", with tons of people outside the stage door asking her for her autograph or for a picture it is quite possible that that's the case.

Is there any chance of taking the Eden discussion elsewhere in favour of devoting this thread back to its topic of reviewing shows?

wow i cant beleive that review of FOTR , i think fiddler is one of the most amazing pieces of musical theatre i have ever seen, mabye it was just your cast, i saw it with Molina and i found him to be brilliant in the role, and the show itself is absolutley amazing , how anyone could dis-like it is beyond me
yet i loved your review of rent, because i agree SOOO much , haha, i saw the same cast and love love loved them, especially matt and destan, they are both beautiful performers
Wow. Musicnmath took the words right out of my mouth.
I just wanted to comment to the both of you. I didn't mean to sound sheepish, but I got in this debate just a little while ago with someone on the other board, and I didn't really want an uproar again. If you ever see a good clip of sweet charity on the internet, pass it along becuase I would love to see someone prove me wrong about the show.... thanks

I am so hung-over. I cannot even speak. I think I wiped-out the brain cells that contained the memories of Mamma Mia and Spelling Bee. I will single-finger type them out as soon as I can leave my bed for more than a minute.
Soz.

Trust me, I am not doing this on purpose. I am not even able to listen to music right now. The super is coming round to fix a lightbulb i broke last night, and to give me a new key because I broke the other while trying to get into my apartment in my drunken state. I was sat outside (waiting for what I don't know) and my neighbours arrived back from their night out and let me in and put me to bed. Bless them.

I vote for Spelling Bee to be written first!
I vote for Mamma Mia...if he saw Carolee Carmello performing!
justme2: you won't like what I have to say about Mamma Mia....just a warning.
