"This may be a stupid question, but what exactly do the white lines on the Carrie image represent? ...
...
Sorry to ask a dumb question, and please don't flame me! It's such an interesting image, but I just wish I understood it!"
The white vertical line is the nose, and the horizontal lines are an eye, the red dot is a tear, and the red waves are hair.
Wanting to understand something isn't stupid, or dumb at all. :)
