I have a cat named Leaf Coneybear.
And another named Tobias... but we gave it away.


I want to name my child, if it's a boy, Melchior (even though my long-term boyfriend hated the name... but then again, we broke up last week).
My choice for a girl is Aurora... but that's not really from a musical.

Well, this isn't a pet, but...I named my cell phone Jamie Wellerstein and my iPod Toby.

My iPod's name is Elphie because it's green. (My friend named hers Muffin...)

I want to name my kids Shoshana Brooklyn and Oliver Seamus...that is if I HAVE kids. My FRIENDS even tell me they can't see me getting married. 'Tis sad.

And to be on tipic...I had a kitty named Glinda. We gave her away, though. The kitty I call mine now is named Dexy Liir and the other cat we actually owned before we moved is named Minerva. Mom calls one of the neighbor's cats that camp out here "Princess", and I added "Amneris" to that. So now we have Princess Amneris, Dexy Liir, Minerva, Roscoe, and Hershey. And my dog's name is Bruno, like Bruno Martelli from Fame, but not intentionally.

When a couple of my friends and I get a place next fall, we're getting a dog, and I want to name him Oliver(Ollie, for short!). I had a cat named Cunegonde.
I agree about the name Cosette- it's so cute.

I had a black cat named HAMLET. OK, not that original but I had just seen a Royal Shakespeare Company production with Alan Howard, who was very cat-like in his movements, so it seemed right.

My puppy's full name is Foxy Roxie Hart.

My good friend went to the Westminster dog show a few years ago to meet up with breeders of Portuguese Water Dogs. I introduced her to another friend of mine who breeds and shows Irish Water Spaniels. She fell in love with an IWS puppy and brought him home with her. Due to her change of heart, she named him Oliver's Twist O' Fate. He'since finished his championship and is the best dog she's ever owned.

For any dog lovers who are in the area to see a Broadway show, The Westminster Dog show is Feb. 12 & 13 at MSG.

I named my violin Donatello but that was out of impulse and I don't think a musical inspired me there.
