Are they going to make the (offstage) husbands, etc., characters in the musical, or just leave it as a chamber musical with the three female leads?
Did anyone happen to catch the "Vanities" touring production of four or five years ago? I didn't see it, but I was on tour at the same time, and it was coming to several venues just as my company was leaving them. It had the most horrifying cast of all time--Erin Moran, Jill Whelan, and Linda Blair. They're all way too old, none of them has the range necessary, and I can't even imagine who played what role!
I ask in all honesty/What would life be?/Without a song and a dance, what are we?/So I say "Thank you for the music/For giving it to me."
