That doesn’t seem fair. I wouldn’t be happy either. But check the site a couple times a day because they will release holds one or two days out. There aren’t very many tickets that come available. Sometimes only a few. But there are tickets being released for the rest of the run within a day or two. So be sure to check it often! I bet you’ll find a ticket

People on Reddit were discussing it a few days ago. It sounds like the show is entirely canceled on that date and the theater isn't offering anything to make up for it since the rest of the run is sold out, so there may not be anything you can do.

I saw the Reddit conversation as well, and assuming it's the same date - it is indeed the entire performance, not just some tickets. (Like it was never supposed to be on sale?)
It sucks, no doubt, but I'm not sure what there is TO do.

So upset. Had row A after purchasing them on day one, and was so looking forward to it. Can’t believe they made this mistake. Would’ve gotten a different day!

And I just checked....the people that brought it up on Reddit were also 4/20.
As another poster said, just keep checking, more tickets might show up! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Same here
Lucille Lortel Theatre - a historically important but so run-down venue - once again had my eyes rolling

Update: got tickets for $219 which I thought was better than the other $449 options (although still annoyingly more than double my original price), so I went, and I’m SO glad I did. What he’s doing on that stage is special. I really commend him and the director for finding ways to so explicitly define each character and give them true emotion. What could’ve been a gimmick that wore off in 10 minutes was engaging and captivating for its entirety. Very glad I saw it live.
