Vicki Noon officially joins 2nd tour of "Wicked" as Elphaba April 6!

Vicki Noon has officially taken over the role of Elphaba from Marcie Dodd in the the 2nd national tour of "Wicked." She starts performances tomorrow night. It's great that she's playing lead after going on many times in San Francisco as well as in Los Angeles and Chicago.

This was indeed Marcie's cut off date, so it's just how she chose to end the last few months. Rumor is that she is going to SF when Eden leaves?

I had the pleasure of seeing Vicki Noon and Natalie Daradich perform together three times in San Francisco. Their chemistry is amazing. I'm glad others across the country will have a chance to see them together.

As sad as I am to see Marcie leave(again), I'm very excited to see Vicki in 2 weeks. She will be my 13th Elphaba.

Marcie got very tired and exhausted(not to mention sick) by the end of her run and missed shows. You really can't blame her, she's been with the show almost non-stop since 2006 when she was on the 1st tour.

She's only been full time Elphaba for about a year & stuck pretty close to the score so I don't by the length of her run as an excuse.

Ya, As fantastic as Marcie was, when she was In Schenectady for a month, Carrie went on for half of the run, and I heard she had been out alot before then. Good Luck to Vicki.

TheatreFan4, You really thought Marcie stuck to the score...WOW.

E.Davis, She hardly missed until up to Schenectady. Maybe 2-3 shows a month if that. That is hardly missing in my book.

Marcie was consistent, but she really did not stick to the score that much. And she was like a machine up until the end of the run.

Sorry, I was just going on what I heard...Both her and Helene were very sick in Schenectady.
