Natalie Cortez will continue in the role of Anita for the remainder of the Broadway run (Karen Olivo will not return per doctor's orders)
Wow, that is really upsetting.
Oh a interesting note: The revival will have out run the original production by just 16 performances.

I thought Next to Normal would have announced before them.
For those who thought NEXT TO NORMAL wouldn't have a life outside Broadway, well it's now playing in 4 cities, 9 different countries and has been translated into 6 languages.

yeah natalie cortez was telling me she has taken over the role for good about 3 days ago.... its sad wouldve loved to see Olivo, but Cortez was pretty awesome as Anita.
well glad im seeing it again one last time before it closes and this time with the new Maria. sigh wish Scaliogne was contining to the end of the broadway run.

The Great White Way Report's Facebook status talks about them at the Priscilla press event right now. How coincidental that WSS's closing went up right now and Priscilla will announce their theatre tonight!

Darn, I actually enjoyed this production, even thought it wasn't super super amazing. I need to get to the Palace sometime soon!
