Lindsay Northen mentioned last night after the show that the current cast was asked to participate in this, but it was/is entirely optional. They haven't had any rehearsal yet, either.

Less than two weeks, actually.

It's all very bizarre, that we've heard absolutely nothing. The only cast members that have confirmed their attendance are Megan Hilty, Norbert Leo Butz, Michelle Federer, and Julie Reiber.

Yes, I guess I should have included Lindsay in that list.

When she was talking about it, and the complete lack of preparation and rehearsal at this point, she was like, "I guess I'll wear jeans."

Well they are finally starting to announce people now. I mean its only in 10 days why start now...LOL. Maybe that night they will announce the new cast also(Elphaba, Fiyero and possibly Glinda).

Glinda-Kendra
Fiyero-I'm 99% sure that Norbert's going to do it
Nessa-Michelle

not sure about anyone else, but that makes the most sense of the people who are in it.

How can the cast be SJB as Elphaba? She's in 9 to 5.

They're not performing the show, they're performing songs from it there is no cast for this concert and SJB can't be the next Elphaba...

They're not playing "roles" or performing a show. It's a concert of cut material. There are going to be several former Elphies present, plus the current one. So far, Shoshana Bean, Stephanie Block, Kerry Ellis, and Julie Reiber have confirmed they're going to be there.

That Playbill is for the performance on October 30th, the actual anniversary. It's not for the concert.

Why is Mark Indelicato playing Boq? I mean I have nothing against him but his closest tie to WICKED is that episode of Ugly Betty that was filmed at WICKED, and he wasn't even in that and is to young the be in regular performances.


EDIT: Ben Libert(sp?) the current Boq is going to be there, why wouldn't he be playing Boq?
