I loved "I'm Not That Girl", with Marlo Thomas who is "That Girl" as Daniel's date.
"how long does it usually take for episodes to get on itunes? I want to buy it!"
you can find it on abc.com
I loved the montage that fit with "I'm Not That Girl" I literally got teary eyed. It was really beautiful.
I loved loved how the kids were trading playbills: I also loved that the chubby kid had a Jersey Boys t-shirt [just my personal favorite touch.] I was wearing a Spamalot t-shirt when they mentioned Spamalot, I felt special.
Eden and Megan were great. When Betty and Henry were in the bubble, was pretty hilarious.
Overall, I throughly enjoyed it. =)

The show doesn't really strive for realism, so even if I would have wanted to pick apart all the Broadway-related things they got "wrong," I wouldn't.
"Nice, ClumsyDude. Nice."
Thanks Mattbrain.
You know you wish Ugly Betty made you feel special too.
"Funniest part for me was Betty thinking she could call up and get same day tickets."
Totally thought the same Thing! I was like...nooo...wicked is wayy to popular for that!
I wasn't a fan of either Eden or Megan's voice. They both had that kind of trembly hummingbird-fast vibrato (which I do not like). I think the current actors in the NYC production (Block and Annaleigh) are far superior.
All I know is that I was thinking of going to see Wicked but since it didn't even nominally hold the interest of any of the Ugly Betty characters, I have to think Wicked is a pretty lame show. At least those Hills douches pretended like they were enjoying Legally Blonde.

If you ever check out the forums over at Trip Advisor, you'll see people posting all the time saying they're going to be in the city in a week or two and they want to know how to get tickets to Wicked/Jersey Boys/etc.
Daniel's line was pretty funny also, yeah I get it, she's green, girl power, rah-rah.
I may be in the minority on the boards, but Henry needs to go, Betty needs some more sandwiches.
I loved the Playbill swapping scene!! I died laughing when I saw the chubby boy with the JB shirt on. Overall, I thought the episode was pretty cute. Popular sounded not up to par in my book and I thought it was pretty funny that she came out of the stage door and was not anywhere near the Gershwin!! I got a good laugh out of it though....so yay for ABC for making me laugh! LOL
I thought the episode was pretty funny. And I liked the end of the defying gravity scene when Megan and Eden said,"what the...holy crap."
I just saw the episode. I thought justin refused to traid his merman playbill because she was going to give him her harvey fiddler one.
Anywho, I liked the episode. I was looking at things form more of a business standpoint. I was suprised to see disney advertising for Universal pictures becasue the two are rivals.
But, the whole texting/talking thing didn't bother me at all.
I did find it interesting that they did show the Wicked billboard that is right by the gershwin theatre. I found it interesting that they edited it because the real billboard has an arrow pointing in the direction of the billboard that has the gershwin info on it. But, instead they just made it a white bar.
Overall, I did like Megan and Eden's preformances in it
All I could think about was why were the cornstalks and the wizard's chair outside the stage door.
And was that Kristoffer Cusick as Fiyero? Why wasn't he credited as a guest star? Megan & Eden were.
I'm pretty sure he was credited as a guest star.. I thought i saw his name in the beginning
I'll be honest. I hated the whole episode. But I couldn't understand why until I read this board. The whole idea of her keeping her "romance" a secret is absurd and outdated by like 50 years! But the texting, coughing, sneezing crap irritated me beyond belief. No one in the audience around them said anything? Give me a break. Think of it. Those are the $300 seats. And some idiot is texting her boyfriend 5 rows back. And the actors can see that. They can see the first 5 rows. This show tends to be annoying to begin with but this won was REALLY Annoying.
But I didn't know Ugly Betty shot in LA. I thought it shot here in NY.
UGLY BETTY + WICKED= LOVE
The I'M NOT THAT GIRL montage was GREAT.
LOVED the "Holy crap!" from Eden.
The trading Playbills was adorable
But... where was FOR GOOD?
Meghan's voice bothered me for some reason, Eden seemed fine (I also saw her live and I thought she was great)
I definitely loved the playbill swapping scene, and I noticed the shirt as well, it made me very happy, I hope they have more of that on other episodes.
It's funny I only started watching the show because Ava Gaudet was on it, but I VERY QUICKLY became addicted to it.
And the whole show is ridiculous and unrealistic, its based on a soap opera, almost most of its fanbase is not made up of theatre fans like us so the fact that they didn't get the details right really didn't bother me at all. Though the texting annoyed me a little bit too.

Megan sounded really off in what I heard of Popular. The filming itself looked AMAZING though. I was in awe the shots of the stage. The "I'm Not That Girl" sequence was done very well, too.

Little bit. Yeah.
"I say text away - on vibrate."
You REALLY want to sit next to someone clicking away on a brightly-lit gadget? Ugh...
And I agree-- Galinda (especially during "Popular") sounded just TERRIBLE.
