LOVE IT---LOVE THE WHOLE THING. Love Idina, love Kristin, love Michelle, love Joey and Norbert and Chris, but for me I probably love the show because my parents had my OBSESSED with The Wizard of OZ when I was little.

Liked it as a fun spectacle. Hated the book changes from the novel.

Like it. I've enjoyed myself both times I have seen it, but I really don't get what the huge deal is about. The songs are good, the talent is good, I enjoy the story, but it just doesn't grab me in the way that other shows do.

Like it. There were some really good songs, but some of the others ones are horrible. The story is not dark enough-- I was expecting it to be as dark as the book, but it wasn't, so I was disappointed.

I have my books and my poetry to protect me...

I like Wicked. Really, I think it's very nice. It's not a perfect show, but it's certainly entertaining, and it's got a talented cast. It's definitely not the best thing since sliced bread, and unfortunately I found that it loses a lot of its charm the second time, but I do enjoy it.

A work of art is an invitation to love.

Like it. I loved the sets and the cast, but the book was less to be desired. It was very entertaining though, minus the 3 horrible songs in the show (something bad, sentimental man, wonderful)....I too hate the over obsessed fans though...

And God bless it's fans! I know that they post a lot here and it seems to drive people crazy. But hey, it's nice to see people excited about the arts. I have said before, if the fans bother you, just ignore the threads. I witnessed the fans at the stage door the night I saw it. Granted, they were a wee bit intense, but, they were at the theatre and doing something constructive. I only say to those hardcore fans, Now that you've enjoyed Wicked one or more times, go explore other shows and hopefully get just as excited about them! And also, you may want to do a search on WICKED to see if the Topic you are posting is already being discussed somewhere here on the boards. And it does cut down on the amount of topics listed. Just my opinion.

Love it. It's a great theater experience, the cast is unbelieveable, and the music is exciting too.

am indifferent to it - think the music is good (albeit banal and repetitive) and so is the cast.
The fans are as irritating as haemorrhoids...

Love, love, love the cast.
Love, love the music.
Love the lighting/scenery/costumes.
Like the book a lot.
Hate the fans.
Hate the smoke. (Irritates my throat.)

I'm in between like and love. It's a really fun show, I love the cast, I love the set/special effects, and I love listening to the music, but it's obviously very flawed.

I'm torn. I think its good theatre, but when people started obsessing over it and all the posts were about Idina's hang-nail they bought on eBay it kinda became less like an ok musical and more a wierd cult & i stoped enjoying it AT ALL and hate it- the book is a disgrace, there are maybe 3 songs on the obcr that you actually listen to, and the cogs, etc. on the set have absolutly NOTHING to do with the show... can't say im a fan anymore, and i wasn't a very big one before.
