Even for someone like you, the number 2 shouldn't be that difficult for you to wrap your mind around. To be generous, I assume you have a bit more intelligence than a turnip. On the other hand, if you fail to understand that bretandrew2 and I are different people, I begin to think the turnip is smarter.

If you're going to diss somebody with humor, you should try more to be funny.

bertandrew2 - If you read what I wrote, you would perhaps notice that I wasn't comparing Ms. Benanti and Ms Moore.


This is what I wrote, Nevertheless, in the reviews I've read, critics have also praised Boyd Gaines and Laura Benanti.

Patti LuPone is the sole name above the title.

The pull quotes are about the above the title star.

This is not some bizarre Patti LuPone ego trip conspiracy.

It's typical when there are performers above the title that the pull quotes refer to their performances, so readers connect the name they see with the title to the name raved about in the quotes.

I think the entire production deserves praise...WOW,WOW,WOW...I saw it upside at first and it said MOM, MOM, MOM...strangely apt! Big purchase, hope it does amazing things for the show.

Bert... rather than use "turnip" why didn't you just use lobster? You jump at every other possible opportunity to throw in the lobster thing.

If you prefer me not to use Mr. Musto's quote in the Village Voice of Lupone playing the role of Mama Rose as though she is eating a live lobster, I could certainly use his other disciptions "...Monstrous Rose--crazier than a loon." But I thought you might take offense to that.

We don't take offense at you, because it's clear that's what you want--like someone who goes around picking at other people's scabs until they bleed.

We just pity you because you have a NEED to be nasty. What must have happened in your life to make you so nasty? Has no one ever shown you love? Kindness?

You're a sad case, ADirector/Bert. The kind of "bitter theater queen" I thought had ceased to exist decades ago and become just an old cliche.

I love that you have created this entire backstory about me simply since I am not a fan of Evita as Rose in Gypsy.

What I write here has to do with my opinions of THE SHOWS AND PERFORMERS on Broadway.

And you just simply comment about the people who post here. Like all the name-calling and labels you have given me here.

I have never said anything critical about you, Pal Joey.

But you feel the need to belittle me on this board simply
