Yup. Its obviously too large to get scanned so someone just take a photo of the full spread with a digital camera.

Great use of the GYPSY title -- you can barely see it in tiny print.
What's this show titled? WOW?! For non-savy theatregoers, who this ad is intended for, will be scratching their heads.
We know its for GYPSY. They don't.
I just showed this to 2 non-Broadway going friends of mine and asked them if they could tell what show this ad was for and both of them thought the title was WOW.

Arts and Leisure is a section read ONLY ONLY ONLY by New Yorkers interested in theater, cinema, opera and concerts.
It is an ad that is designed to BRAG BRAG BRAG about the overwhelmingly positive reviews.
No one reading the NY Times Arts and Leisure section will be at all confused, the way that an ad in the NY Times Sports section with pinstripes and a huge "#1" would clearly be an ad for the Yankees.
But thank you for your concern, dear. That was very (cough, cough) sweet of you.

It's a vanity ad for Ms LuPone. Most ads for shows include quotes about and pictures of the major actors in the production; not this ad! This ad is sending a message to other cast members, "YOU AND YOUR WORK DON'T COUNT! Actors have egos; Ms LuPone's is so big it doesn't allow space for others.

ooo, I think I may have to pick this up tomorrow!
my favorite thing about Patti is no matter how many actors talk about how sweet and giving a performer she is, or how many fans talk about having positive experiences either meeting her or talking briefly with her at the stage door...people insist that she's rude and egomaniacal.
